Jada Pinkett Smith broke down in tears as she recalled sharing a kiss with her “soulmate” Tupac Shakur.
During an appearance on “The Diary Of A CEO” podcast, Jada broke down in tears when she was shown a picture of herself with Tupac and a close friend, Maxine.
Maxine tragically died by suicide around the time of Tupac’s death in Las Vegas in 1996.
Jada and Tupac had argued and they stopped taking to each other before he was shot and killed.
“‘Pac and I had a hard time understanding why we didn’t have it and I [remember] being on the back of porch of my house and we’re having this discussion I’m like ‘OK ‘Pac just kiss me'”.
“And he kisses me and it’s the most disgusting kiss between us both! I mean he pulled back and I pulled back and I was like ‘see dummy!'”
Jada said she was glad they didn’t date. “I think physical intimacy can really get in the way and I think that God just made it that way. God was like ‘no I got a plan and that’s not part of the plan.'”
In her new memoir, Worthy, on sale Tuesday, Oct. 17, Jada said she was a drug dealer when she met Tupac. Her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris had a heroin addiction and Jada sold drugs to help pay the bills.
