A group of fed-up women made a list of places they don’t want to be taken on their first date.
The Cheesecake Factory tops the list, followed by Applebee’s, Chili’s, Chipotle, and Olive Garden. Other first date no-nos are movies, your house, Wingstop, family functions, or bowling. Number 28 on the list is sports events.
Basically, women don’t want to eat at a franchise restaurant on their first date. They want to be wined and dined at Michelin restaurant.
The list was inspired by a recent viral video that showed a woman refusing to get out of the car when a man took her to the Cheesecake Factory on their first date (see below).
Some people claim the viral video was a comedy skit. Others say the woman refused to go inside because she dined and dashed at the same restaurant on her previous visit.
Whether it’s a comedy skit or not, the video touched a nerve with many women who shared their first date horror stories on social media.
One woman said a man took her to the restaurant where he works as a bartender because the food was free. She knew he worked there because that’s where they first met.
