Tiffany Haddish’s friends and family are concerned about the comedienne after her recent DUI arrest in Beverly Hills.

The “Girls Trip” star was arrested for a DUI after she fell asleep behind the wheel of her car in Beverly Hills on Friday.

Police responded to a 911 call at about 5:45 a.m. reporting a motorist stopped in the middle of Beverly Drive.

Haddish, 43, issued a statement vowing she would never get drunk and drive again. She also cracked jokes about her second DUI in a standup comedy routine less than 24 hours later.

She promised to seek help for her alcoholism after her previous DUI arrest on January 14, 2022 in Peachtree City, Georgia.

However, sources tell Page Six they are worried that Haddish’s real feelings are being hidden behind a “fake smile.”

“Tiffany likes to drink and have a good time, but her friends are noticing that she is drinking way more around the holidays,” a source told Page Six. “We think that she may be lonely and hiding behind a fake smile.”

Friends are concerned that Haddish is depressed and she’s self-medicating with alcohol — a dangerous combination.

“It’s surprising because she has worked so hard to get to where she is,” the source told Page Six of the DUI. “She has always spoken about her hardships about being broke, homeless and living in her car. But now that she has found the success she has always dreamed of, new demons are coming to the surface in the form of alcohol.”

“We love the fact that she can move on from this and turn this life situation into a part of her comedy routine. But we are concerned,” said a friend.

Haddish and fellow comedian Aries Spears were sued by the children of a former friend who accused them of s*xual abuse.

Several weeks later, “Jane Doe” filed to have the charge against both Haddish and Spears dismissed with prejudice after an apparent settlement had been reached.

Both Haddish and Spears were canceled as a result of the allegations.
