Keisha suffered extreme weight loss due to anorexia. Friends expressed concern for her, but she denied having any health problems.

“Keisha battled anorexia for years,” said a source. “And in 2014 she entered rehab in Chicago. Forrest stayed by her side during those difficult times, but the following year he filed for divorce.”

“They remained friends and their divorce was amicable,” said a source.

The couple met in 1994 on the set of the film Blown Away.

Forest, 62, and Keisha, were married in 1996 and share two daughters, Sonnet, 27 and True, 25.

Speaking of her husband, she previously told Ebony magazine, according to Essence: “I had seen him in ‘A Rage in Harlem.’ Right away, I thought Forest had a gentle soul and a nice spirit.”
