Tiffany Haddish is releasing a new tell-all book titled I Curse You with Joy.
“The wig is off,” Haddish said in an exclusive statement to People.com.
The 44-year-old comedic actress said her book is a collection of essays and personal stories about her rise and fall from grace.
Her second book will be published on May 7, 2024 by Diversion Books.
“I’m so excited to share the rollercoaster of success that I’ve been on with my readers, and to show them that just because I’m famous, that doesn’t mean I’m not human,” Haddish tells People. “I find the joy in the hardest things in life which you’ll all be able to read about in this new book.”

Last year, Haddish was sued by two siblings who accused her and fellow comic Aries Spears of grooming them when they were minors. Haddish and Spears settled the lawsuit out of court. But her career never fully recovered.
In January 2023, Haddish was arrested in Georgia on suspicion of a DUI after she was found sleeping at the wheel of her car.
A Georgia judge recently ordered Haddish to stop drinking and to submit to random drug tests. If she fails a drug test she may be ordered to serve jail time.
Then last month, Haddish was arrested in Beverly Hills on a DUI charge when police found her asleep at the wheel of her car in Beverly Hills.
“This book is me, highs and lows,” she says in the press release. “The good, the bad, the ugly and of course the funny. The wig is off. I’m not wearing any makeup. No lashes. I’m going to spill the tea of my life, all the stuff that makes me more alive, more human and way more interesting than that beautiful wax mannequin of me in Madame Tussauds.”
Meanwhile, Haddish’s comedy show with Kevin Hart in Thackerville, OK, has been postponed and refunds are being issued.
Haddish was scheduled to appear alongside her “Night School” costar and Chelsea Handler at Lucas Oil Live on December 15. However, the two shows have been rescheduled for the summer of 2024, and Haddish won’t be on the bill.
“The rescheduled shows will feature Kevin Hart, while special guests Tiffany Haddish and Chelsea Handler will be rescheduled for a separate date that is to be determined,” a spokesperson told RadarOnline.com.
