Snoop Dogg’s 24-year-old daughter Cori Broadus says she is hospitalized with a “severe stroke.”
Cori, who was diagnosed with lupus as a child, announced the news in posts on her Instagram Story on Thursday.
One photo shows what appears to be a hospital room. She captioned the image: “I had a severe stroke this am. I started breaking down crying when they told me.”
Another post shows Cori wearing a pink bathrobe with a hood and a surgical mask. She captioned the post: “Like I’m only 24 what did I do in my past to deserve all of this.”
Luckily, Cori is able to sit up, take selfies and type on Instagram. So she’s well on the road to recovery.
Cori opened up about her Lupus diagnosis in a September 2023 interview with People.com last year.
“I’ve been good, better than I’ve ever been,” she said. “I stopped taking all of my medication like five months ago. I’m just doing everything natural, all types of herbs, sea moss, teas. I started working out, drinking lots of water. So, now I think my body’s like, ‘OK, this is the new program and she’s getting used to it.'”
Cori continued: “I’m only 24 years old, taking 10 to 12 pills every single day. So, I kind of just went cold Turkey.”
Snoop, 52, is also a father to sons Cordell, 26, and Cordé, 29, by his wife, Shante Taylor. He also has a son named Julian, 25, from a previous relationship.
