Mike Epps (left) responded to Shannon Sharpe saying he wanted to fight Epps for lying on his name.

Sharpe, 55, called Epps “a liar”, and threatened to “see” him in the streets.

“You said I reached out to you to come on Club Shay Shay, and you a mofo lie,” Sharpe said in an episode of “Nightcap” on Sunday.

Sharpe threatened Epps, saying, “When I see you, I’m gon’ see you!”

Sharpe also threatened to post direct messages from Epps on social media.

In a video shared by The Art of Dialogue on Twitter/X on Monday, Epps admitted he did message Sharpe to get on his podcast.

Epps, 53, explained he sent Sharpe a DM because Sharpe mentioned his name during his viral interview with Katt Williams.

“You was trying to get [Katt] to talk crazy about me, but he didn’t,” the comedian said.

“I’m just letting you know, I don’t be doing no fighting.”

However, in his standup comedy show, Epps claimed Sharpe phoned him for an interview, but he declined.

“I said, ‘No, Madea, I ain’t doing no interview with you so you can sit across from me and look at my balls.'”

Epps suggested Sharpe was a down low gay male who beds both women and men.

“The ni**a’s [podcast] is called ‘Shay Shay.’ The ni**a’s telling you,” Epps joked.

Epps also said Sharpe looked like Madea’s sister. Madea is a cross-dressing character made famous by Tyler Perry.
