Shannon Sharpe (right) clapped back at comedian Mike Epps in an episode of hos “Nightcap” podcast with co-host Chad Ochocinco.
Sharpe, 55, lashed out at Epps for lying on his name when Epps claimed Sharpe called him to be a guest on his “Club Shay Shay” podcast.
Epps, 53, made the comments in a recent standup comedy show.
Epps said Sharpe phoned him for an interview on his “Club Shay Shay” podcast, but he declined.
“I said, ‘No, Madea, I ain’t doing no interview with you so you can sit across from me and look at my balls.'”
Epps suggested Sharpe was a down low gay male who beds both women and men.
“The ni**a’s [podcast] is called ‘Shay Shay.’ The ni**a’s telling you,” Epps joked.
“Put a wig on that ni** and tell me if that ain’t MF’ing Madea’s sister.”
Without mentioning any names, Sharpe called Epps “a liar”, and threatened to “see” him in the streets.
“You said I reached out to you to come on Club Shay Shay, and you a mofo lie.”
Sharpe threatened Epps, saying, “When I see you, I’m gon’ see you!”
Sharpe also threatened to post direct messages from Epps on social media.
“I’ma fire this shot over your head, mofo. And you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about,” he said. “Mention my name again and I’ma put the DMs – and I don’t like doing this — but you lying!
Sharpe said he is unbothered by other men questioning his s*xuality because of who he associates with.
“I don’t care about all that other stuff. You can say I’m gay — I don’t care about that. I won’t chase a lie. But I won’t let you lie on my name.”
“I done heard that a thousand times. Just like everybody jumping in the chat, talking about, ‘Oh, you don’t like nothing but white women.'”
Ochocinco said jokingly, “Listen, you like Skittles now, and you eat every color. Come on, talk to me.”
Sharpe responded, “I don’t eat or suck. I don’t do all that…”
Sharpe never publicly addressed the gay rumors until this episode of “Nightcap.”
