Police say Jackson went to Pope’s house on Feb. 25 to hang out with friends. A video begins with Lewis and McCall slapping and punching Jackson in a bedroom.

Jackson was stripped, handcuffed, pistol-whipped and forced to perform oral sex on a male suspect at gunpoint.

Early Monday, Feb. 26, Jackson sent a text message to a family member that read: “I’ve been kidnapped. Send help. Don’t call.”

When police arrived at the apartment complex, Jackson was gone. Her captors threw her in a car trunk and transported her to an apartment. She was tortured for 12 hours then fatally shot.

Her body was found under a mattress in the 1700 block of Laurel Avenue shortly after 2 a.m. on Monday.

Jackson’s murder drew parallels to the killing of Shanquella Robinson in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on Oct. 29, 2022.

The 25-year-old businesswoman from North Carolina was beaten to death by her friends at a resort.

Robinson’s friends were never charged with her murder.
