Jeezy and Jeannie Mai’s divorce battle is heating up — and she’s bringing receipts.
In a November court filing, Jeannie raised safety concerns over her estranged husband, rapper Jeezy leaving “unsecured” firearms in reach of their toddler.
Now she’s providing receipts.
In a new court filing, obtained by Radar Online, the TV host submitted surveillance images of the rapper carrying an assault rifle around his house.
She said their 2-year-old daughter, Monaco, found Jeezy’s Louis Vuitton bag that allegedly contained an AK-47 rifle.
Jeannie claimed she removed Monaco from Jeezy’s house after she found the rifle next to the bed “which the minor could have easily accessed.”
Jeannie insisted on safe storage of the firearms, as weapons are “obviously dangerous to a two-year-old.”
She suggested that Jeezy, born Jay Wayne Jenkins, was paranoid about his own safety, and he “frequently” carried an AK-47 with him around the house.
“During the time that the parties’ resided together, both in Los Angeles, California, and in Atalanta, Father would frequently walk around the house carrying an AK-47,” the court documents read.
Jeannie also claimed Jeezy would “frequently” leave bullets, “an obvious choking hazard,” in unsecured locations such as kitchen and dining room tables.
She said that Jeezy continues to “deflect” her “valid concerns” by accusing her of “gatekeeping” despite a potentially “catastrophic” outcome.
Jeannie also accused Jeezy of choking her in one incident of domestic violence. In another incident, he pushed her down some steps.
Text messages provided to the court showed that Jeezy apologized after he allegedly injured them both in a golf cart crash while he was allegedly “overly intoxicated.”
Despite the allegations of abuse, Jeannie frequently updated her social media with photos portraying her and the rapper as the perfect couple.
Jeezy and Jeannie tied the knot in 2021. Jeezy filed for divorce in September 2023, stating that “the marriage of the parties is irretrievably broken” and “there is no hope for reconciliation.”
He is seeking joint legal custody of their daughter.
