Los Angeles Lakers fans expressed their frustration on social media after the franchise fumbled three coveted NBA free agents before he retires.

Lakers’ superstar LeBron James is desperate to win another NBA championship.

James, 39, agreed to take a pay cut with the Lakers to land the top 3 free agents on his shopping list.

James reached out to his most coveted target, Klay Thompson, who was released by the Golden State Warriors this weekend.

But the 34-year-old, 6′ 6″ guard already signed a three-year, $50 million contract with the Dallas Mavericks.

2 other veteran free agents on James’ list also slipped through his fingers.

On Sunday, James Harden re-signed with the L.A. Clippers for $70 million over 2 years. While center Jonas Valanciunas inked a three-year, $30 million deal with the Washington Wizards.

Lakers fans took to social media to express their disappointment on Monday.

One fan tweeted sarcastically: “at least we got Bronny.. this front office is a joke.”

The fan referred to the Lakers selecting James’ inexperienced son Bronny James with the No. 55 pick in the 2024 NBA draft.

Another disappointed fan said James and his agent Rich Paul (Klutch Sports) are ruining the Lakers.

The fan wrote: “Klutch Sports runs the lakers now and that’s why we haven’t had success since they got lebron. They basically have let him come in and ruin the franchise.”

A third fan wrote: “As much as I show hells respect for the Lakers, they kind of remind me of the Dallas Cowboys of pro basketball. Nothing but missed opportunities year in and year out.”
