
7-year-old drag racer Elienisse Zoe Diaz Rodriguez died doing what she loved best: speeding.
Elienisse died tragically 2 days after a drag racing accident at Orlando Speed World in Orlando, Florida. Cell phone video shows Elienisse’s dragster collide with other dragsters before crashing into a retaining wall at the race track on Feb. 2.
She suffered a closed head injury despite wearing a safety helmet at the time of the crash.
A GoFundMe page raised over $21,000 for funeral expenses. The page stated Elienisse fought for her life for two days before doctors declared her brain dead on Feb. 4.
Elienisse had dreams of being a junior dragster, according to GoFundMe.

According to reports, another child was transported on advanced life support to Orlando Regional Medical Center. Officials stated a third child also was transported to AdventHealth East Orlando with non-life-threatening injuries.
