Kid Cudi testified on Thursday in Sean Combs’ sex trafficking trial in Manhattan. Cudi, best known for his song “Day ‘n’ Nite”, said Combs once broke into his home. He also confirmed Combs threw a Molotov cocktail inside his Porsche and torched the sports car.

Kid Cudi said Combs was irate when he found out the 41-year-old rapper was seeing his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura after she “stopped dating” the music mogul.

Kid Cudi said that in December 2011, he received a call from Cassie alerting him that Combs had found out about them. Cassie sounded scared on the phone, the rapper testified.

Cudi picked up Cassie, and while he was gone, his house was broken into. Kid Cudi said his family’s gifts were unwrapped under the Christmas tree, and someone locked his dog in the bathroom. The security cameras at his house had been tampered with.

Kid Cudi said his dog was nervous and jittery after the break-in.

He testified that Combs called him and said, “I’m over here waiting for you.”

Moments later, Kid Cudi’s dog’s babysitter called to say his Porsche was on fire.

The incident is one of dozens of violent acts prosecutors claim Combs committed against people who crossed him.

Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, arson, racketeering and conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
