NeNe Leakes invited Tamar Braxton to sit on her sofa during episode 6 of “The NeNe Leakes Show” that aired on Wednesday on YouTube.
The singer and reality TV star opened up about her experience on “The Real” daytime talk show – which Tamar says was originally created for her.
Tamar, 48, said she brought the majority of the cast on the talk show, but Loni Love’s casting was an external decision.
NeNe Leakes revealed that she was a candidate for Loni’s spot, and Tamar didn’t hold back, referring to Loni as a “Big Back Cadillac.”
“I wish they would’ve told me that, because I wouldn’t have casted Big Back Cadillac,” Tamar told Nene.
Tamar said she wishes the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” originator had gotten the gig instead of Loni. Tamar stressed that “The Real” would still be on the air if NeNe had gotten the job.
Tamar left “The Real” in 2016 under shaky circumstances. Tamar said it was a “mutual decision” for her to leave the show. However, subsequent reports indicated various concerns and on-set friction between Tamar and the cast.
I tried to reach out to Loni Love on Twitter to get her reaction to Tamar’s comments, but she blocked me last year. I have a lot of respect for Loni, however, she was offended by my posts about her boyfriend, James Welsh.
Loni, 53, and James met on the Christian Mingle dating app. They share a strong bond despite their cultural differences (he’s Caucasian).
