Jason Whitlock joined the chorus of WNBA fans criticizing the Dallas Wings for drafting Paige Bueckers’ girlfriend, Azzi Fudd, with the No. 1 pick on Monday.

“There’s nothing the WNBA loves more than a same-sex love story,” Jason said in his “Fearless” podcast on Tuesday.

Jason said the WNBA “installed another same-sex love story… they love this.”

He name-dropped WNBA lesbian couple, Alyssa Thomas and DeWanna Bonner. “This is what the WNBA is all about: promoting the LGBTQIA+ silent p agenda.”

Jason argued that Azzi Fudd wasn’t supposed to be at the top of the draft because she wasn’t the best player in the draft.

TCU star Olivia Miles was the best player in the 2026 WNBA draft. But the Minnesota Lynx drafted Olivia No. 2 overall because she isn’t dating another WNBA player.

Jason said UCLA star Lauren Betts should have been the No. 1 pick.

“She just won the National Championship,” he said of the 6’7″ Most Outstanding Player in the NCAA Tournament.

He continued: “How did Lauren Betts not go No. 1? Because the WNBA loves same-sex couples stories and they’re electing Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd to be the first couple of the WNBA. And they’re going to shove this power couple down our throats.”

He said the league’s gay agenda makes it nearly impossible for him to watch WNBA games.
