R&B singer Sammie shared new video after an early morning workout on Thursday. He captioned the video clip: “Another day.”
Sammie, 39, is in week 5 of his weight loss journey and fans say he looks amazing.
In the video, a shirtless and sweaty Sammie records himself in a bathroom mirror.

One fan wrote: “You dropped a lot of weight… quickly.” Another person wrote, “Keep it up luv, looking damn good!!!” A third fan commented, “Looking good baby.”
Former child star Sammie Lee Bush, Jr. is best known for his 1999 hit single, “I Like It”, from his debut album, From the Bottom to the Top.
He recently made headlines when he claimed he “beat up” Ray J.
On April 14, Sammie took to Instagram and wrote, “I beat up Ray J last night. He was talking crazy to me smh.”
Sammie added:
“He started it, then I finished it. But that’s my brother and ima pull up on him once he heals. His back hurts lol. No more Kettle One for him. I thought he was joking till it wasn’t funny anymore.”
No video exists of the alleged assault. Ray J was not recently hospitalized.
EURweb.com reports that Sammie’s baby mama, Marie Brooke, left their young son on his doorstep on a cold night when temperatures dipped into the ’30s.
Crystal Renay, Ne-Yo’s ex-wife and Sammie’s good friend, posted the video in defense of the singer.
In the clip, Marie appears to place the couple’s young son, Legend Lee Bush (born around October 2025), on Sammie’s porch, rings the doorbell, and drives away. Reports indicate the temperature was dangerously cold, hovering between 30 and 38 degrees. Crystal’s caption was scathing, accusing Marie of abandoning the child in freezing conditions out of frustration over their relationship status. Source
Marie responded to the backlash saying the video was from 2025 and not recent. She claims she is struggling with postpartum depression. Marie alleged that she called Sammie and his father ahead of time to alert them she was bringing the baby over because she was overwhelmed and needed help. She also said Sammie was inside the home watching her but he did not immediately come to the door.
Sammie explained that he didn’t realize Marie abandoned their baby on his doorstep in the cold.
