I think that boycotting will be effective IF we actually did it and stuck to the plan until a change is made. Previous generations boycotted buses for 19 months- that’s all the seasons and then some- and we can’t sacrifice buying things that our children will play with for only 2 weeks. I say we, because I’m guilty as well. I would love to turn this into a teachable moment for our children though.

I am disgusted. A great and dear friend’s mom went to the funeral today. It was not closed casket. They cut her hair, suit on. How can they bury her as (editor note: name redacted, because seriously, it wasn’t her name) when she legally changed her name. So very sad. Jen you will be missed and people who know you know that you are at peace.
