LAPD homicide detectives say “Hit the Floor” actress-dancer Stephanie Moseley was shot multiple times by her rapper husband, Earl Hayes, who then turned the gun on himself in an apparent murder-suicide early Monday. A SWAT team found their bodies inside a locked bedroom at the high end Palazzo East apartments next-door to The Grove in Los Angeles.
A resident at the Palazzo apartments called 911 about 7:30 a.m. Monday to report the sounds of a woman screaming and about 10 gunshots. A SWAT team heard 2 gunshots after breaching the door to the apartment.
Hayes and Moseley were yearlong residents at The Palazzo where rent ranges from $4965 a month to over $20,000 a month.
Friends say Hayes was heartbroken over his failed marriage to Moseley. He had accused the popular 30-year-old dancer of sleeping with a famous singer.
According to sports groupie blog Balleralert.com, Hayes called his boss and mentor, champion boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr., via FaceTime to say goodbye before killing himself. Hayes was signed to Mayweather’s Money Team Record label.
Moseley once danced for singer Chris Brown. Her Instagram page is saturated with photos of herself posing with male celebrities, including Brown. There are no photos of Hayes.
Similarly, Hayes’ Instagram page features the young rapper balling out with celebrities from rapper Rick Ross to musician Swizz Beatz, and flossing with Floyd Mayweather’s money. There are scant few photos of Moseley on his social media pages.

Sources connected with Hayes tell us … around 2 years ago he separated from Stephanie because of what he says was her affair with Songz. They got back together but, as one friend put it, “He was crushed and never got over it.” We’re told he frequently brought up Songz.
Hayes accused Moseley of having multiple affairs with various other entertainers. She was a backup dancer who worked with numerous famous singers, including Chris Brown and Usher, but we’re told Hayes never mentioned them as a source of conflict.
Hayes and Moseley married in 2008 and his friends say he loved her and tried rationalizing staying together.

Sources say Earl Hayes allegedly called Floyd on FaceTime Monday morning in a rage over claims Stephanie had been unfaithful. Earl said that he was going to kill his wife and despite Floyd’s efforts to stop him, Earl inevitably pulled the trigger. Reports are saying that Floyd witnessed the shooting but according to our sources, that is UNTRUE. Earl called Floyd to say his goodbyes and it was left at that.
Without question Floyd is in shock and having a hard time dealing with all of this. These new developments would explain the message 50 Cent wrote to Floyd asking him to not harm himself.
