A Las Vegas gun range is offering divorcees the privilege of blasting their wedding dresses to smithereens with an AR-15 machine gun.

Starting this Valentine’s Day, Machine Guns Vegas will offer a “Just Divorced” experience.
The package — announced this week during Shot Show, the industry’s largest trade show, which just happens to be in Las Vegas — is for “a recently divorced husband or wife and up to four guests to celebrate the divorcee’s new independence by utilizing wedding memorabilia as targets.”
Ex-spouses who pay $499 will have the privilege, the range says in a news release, of celebrating “their recent uncoupling and new beginning by taking aim at wedding items from years passed including (but not limited to) wedding dresses, tuxes, and marriage certificates with MGV’s largest caliber-shot available.”
The 500 bucks gets divorcees 40 rounds on a “a 1919 mounted belt-fed machine gun” and “10 rounds on a black or pink M4.” The package even includes complimentary transportation.

I’ve told a four part story about my child being disrespectful to his teacher and from ALL of that, somewhere deeply imbedded within this story about my child being a disrespectful clown whose behavior goes against everything I’ve ever taught him – I found a way to BRAG?
About what, exactly? This is NOT the post to brag in, is it? (BTW: What kind of vehicle does Joey drive again?) Bragging would’ve been to mention all of that. What I said what that these were the director’s sentiments and my belief is that she doesn’t like him – and after our meeting, it was clear that he doesn’t like her… which explains why she felt comfortable making some of those statements to me – and also why she chose to continually defend Joey and not the teacher.
I even corrected him during our meeting when he kept referring to the director (who is over the entire school as “Ma’am” during our meeting.
It wasn’t the term, but the inflection/tone he used it in addition to WHERE he used it.
It was very condescending and patronizing and I called him out on it.

Well, during our meeting, the teacher admitted that he’s one of those teachers who LETS the students curse, use their cell phones, BS in class, etc. on a regular basis and his position was that he doesn’t report it because he doesn’t want the students to have anything on their records.
He says, Joey walked up to him and mentioned his shoes and said, “I’ll bet your old a$$ can’t afford these.” and he said they laughed and went on with class. (now, I won’t mention the price of the shoes for fear I’ll have to windmill User Friendly) but when I asked Joey if he said that and his lying a$$ed said no, I knew the teacher was being truthful, because there is NO way on earth that man would’ve known exactly how much those shoes cost UNLESS Joey said that.
This dude curses at the students and they curse back and he thinks that behavior is appropriate. Joey’s raggedy a$$ (trying to fit in, I’m sure) realized that he has a teacher who lets him curse, so he went all the way in.
The teacher says he puts Joey out of his class several times a week, but always lets him back in. When I tried to explain that all it took was ONE call to me and we wouldn’t be here, he just didn’t get it. Kept talking about the student’s “record” until I finally blew up and asked “WHAT f*cking record is affected by you calling MY phone other than his DRIVING record when I take those keys?!?”
That’s when the director kept saying, “What he’s trying to say is… ” and he kept saying, “I don’t understand what I did wrong, MA’AM!”
SMH I kept trying to make him understand that he is fostering this behavior in his classes and by trying to be a peer and not setting that adult/teacher/AUTHORITY FIGURE – student boundary, his kids would never respect him and would continually treat him like a peer.
He didn’t get it. I gave up. The director just kept rolling her eyes like she was embarrassed that I, the parent, was trying to teach a TEACHER and he still had a tude with HER for co-signing my sentiment.
