Who cares about a NBA championship when you have great friends and good health?
NBA superstars LeBron James,, far right, Dwyane Wade, 2nd from left, and Chris Paul, 2nd from right, joined actress Gabrielle Union on an inflatable banana boat ride in the Bahamas.
According to the NY Post, the good pals rented a luxurious $17 million 130-foot, five-bedroom yacht anchored off the island of Staniel Cay for a few days of fun in the sun.
NBA star Carmelo Anthony (pictured below 2nd from left) is also vacationing in the Bahamas.
Wade is pictured on the left of the above photo celebrating his new $20 million one-year contract with the Miami Heat. While LeBron remains unsigned with the NBA Finals runner-up Cleveland Cavaliers.
Meanwhile, Paul is being blamed for running off DeAndre Jordan from the Clippers to the Dallas Mavericks. The scuttlebutt is that Jordan and Paul didn’t get along as teammates.
UPDATE: Paul has reportedly left his vacation to fly to Houston, where Jordan has a home, to persuade Jordan to return to the LA Clippers. ESPN reports that Paul will be joined by Clippers Coach/team president Doc Rivers, new recruit Paul Pierce and veteran guard J.J. Redick in a meeting on Wednesday. Mavericks coach Mark Cuban is also in Houston to remind Jordan that he committed to sign a $80 million four-year contract with Dallas. Unless the Clippers can come with $81 million, Jordan will probably stay in Texas.
