Young Thug

Rapper Young Thug is cooling his heels inside the DeKalb County jail after his arrest on Wednesday for threatening to shoot a mall cop in the face. Young Thug’s jail cell is a far cry from the luxury, upscale 9,000+ square foot Sandy Springs mansion he currently rents for $7,500/month.

According to public records, Thugga, whose real name is Jefferey Lamar Williams, rented the home on Glen Lake Drive in May. The house is for sale for $1.2 million, and if Williams doesn’t bond out of jail soon, it might go back on the market, according to my source.

The spectacular renovated 8 bedroom, 8.5 bath mansion with 4-car garage boasts a movie theater, 7 “decadent” fireplaces, an in-law suite in the guest house with separate private entrance, and new stainless steel appliances.

Oddly, the property listing states “section 8 vouchers not accepted.”

Willimas’ neighbors are reportedly unhappy with the news media going door-to-door asking questions in their quiet bedroom community.

My spy says, “I doubt he will be getting his deposit back and he might be getting evicted because of all of this craziness!!!”

According to an indictment uncovered by Channel 2 Action News, Williams allegedly conspired with his road manager, Pee Wee Roscoe, and Cash Money Records co-founder Bryan “Birdman” Williams to kill rap mogul Lil Wayne.

Williams, who is no relation to Birdman, was out of town when someone riding in Roscoe’s white Chevy Camaro opened fire on Lil Wayne’s tour bus on I-285 in Cobb county on April 26. No one on the bus was injured.

Roscoe is currently in the Cobb County lockup without bond. His next court hearing is today.

UPDATE: Williams bonded out of jail today. The judge allowed him to continue his tour while he awaits a hearing on weapons and gun charges.
