Most churches collect tithes to pay salaries, utility bills, maintenance and repairs, the pastor’s Bentley payments, etc. Churches require their flock to voluntarily drop one tenth of their annual income into the collection plate.
Skeptical parishioners can demand an accurate accounting of where their tithes go if they suspect improper record keeping. That’s how parishioners discovered Rev. Peter Miqueli stole over $1 million from the collection plate to finance his fantasy homosexual lifestyle.
The parishioners of the St. Frances de Chantal Roman Catholic Church in the Bronx filed a lawsuit against Rev. Migueli accusing him of, among other things, embezzling funds from the collection plate to pay his “sex master”.
According to court documents obtained by the NY Post, Rev. Migueli used the collection plate to finance his ungodly fantasies as a sex “slave” since 2003.
Migueli paid his sex master, Keith Crist, for bondage-and-discipline sessions at $1,000 per session. His sex fantasies, which are well-documented in court papers, include Crist forcing “Father Miqueli to drink Keith Crist’s urine.”
Migueli even moved Crist into the sanctuary at St. Frances de Chantal, but parishioners discovered Crist wasn’t a visiting priest and kicked him out.
Court papers allege Migueli spent $60,000 in 2012 alone for “illicit and prescription drugs” that he and Crist used together. He also purchased a $264,000 home in Brick, NJ, and paid $1,075.50 a month for his sex master’s retreat, an East Harlem apartment.
“This lawsuit seeks to finally put an end to this truly sinful conduct so that St. Frances de Chantal parish can regain the strength, spirituality and faith it once had before Father Miqueli arrived,” the court documents say.
