Chance the Rapper surprised an auditorium full of screaming teenagers by giving away brand new Air Jordan 11s during his monthly OpenMike event in Chicago.
The OpenMike night serves as a “safe space” for the teenagers. In the video, the rapper is seen unboxing one of the sneakers, which isn’t available in stores until December 9. Behind him is a wall of Air Jordan shoe boxes.
Jordan Brand released two new colorways of the Jordan 11 sneakers (“Win Like ’82”) and the new “Win Like ’96” in red. The red Air Jordan 11 pays homage to the ’96 Chicago Bulls. The shoe will retail for $220 when it hits stores.
