Rapper Cardi B dropped the music video for her 2017 track “Bartier Cardi”, featuring 21 Savage. Her fiancé Offset makes an appearance in the video. It’s unusual for a rapper to release a music video several months after the song dropped, but Cardi is an unusual rap artist.
Cardi premiered the music video during Monday night’s episode of Love & Hip-Hop.
“Bartier Cardi got mixed reviews from hip-hop fans who consistently compare the Bronx native to her arch rival Nicki Minaj.
Produced by 30 Roc and Cheez Beatz, “Bartier Cardi” fails to rescue Cardi from one-hit status. Though catchy, the follow-up to her smash hit “Bodak Yellow” misses the mark.
