Kudos to bloggers who didn’t fall for Jamie Foxx’s peen-slapping publicity stunt which was likely planned to promote Foxx hosting the 2018 BET Awards last month.
According to published reports, the Las Vegas Police Department has closed the file on a case involving a woman who claimed the actor sexually assaulted her over a decade ago.
The details of the alleged assault were so ridiculous that many bloggers called BS on the allegations.
The police closed the investigation due to the statute of limitations running out years ago. The incident allegedly occurred at a house party in 2002.
Foxx denied the allegations and “threatened” to sue the victim for slander.
It should be noted that the “victim” made the allegations ahead of the 2018 BET Awards, which Foxx hosted last month.
Many social media users were savvy enough to recognize that the allegations were a stunt to promote the BET Awards.
