Houston police are searching for three women in connection with the shooting death of a 5-year-old boy.
Police are looking for Shapree Monique Stoneham, 29; Khalisah Smith, 18; and Alexis Moshae Gore, 22. The women are persons of interest in the shooting death of Jordan Allen Jr. who died a week after he was hit by a stray bullet fired from a car.
Jordan was playing on his family’s porch when he was shot around 9 p.m. Tuesday in the 8500 block of Richmond Avenue near Dunvale in southwest Houston, CBS DFW reports.
“He just told me to get him some juice,” said the boy’s father, Jordan Allen Sr. “That’s why I stepped in the house to get him some juice.”
He said the family was making Tik-Tok videos on the 2nd floor balcony when they heard five to six gunshots in the parking lot. Then they heard Jordan crying out.
“Everybody ran in the house and the kids ran in the house, so I ran to the porch, and then I see my son on the ground holding his head asking for my help,” Allen said.
“The happiest child in the world. Jordan… he would bring joy to everybody,” Allen said.
After the shooter sped off, Allen picked up his son and flagged down an ambulance. He said he is now trying to figure out how to lay his son to rest.
Police recovered multiple spent shell casings in the parking lot. Several cars were damaged by gunfire, police spokesperson Jodi Silva told CNN.
