LaVar Ball gave his youngest son LaMelo a father-son pep talk about meeting groupies in the NBA.
LaVar warned his son that he will never meet a good, clean Christian woman during his NBA career.
He cautioned LaMelo about the trappings of success – and the traps that groupies set for rich young players like him.
“You’ll never meet a good girl during your NBA career,” LaVar said. “I hate to tell you, you gonna meet a h*e!”
LaVar made the statements during an appearance on the BroBible Endless Hustle podcast.
He told his son that most groupies will pretend they don’t know who he is. But groupies always do their homework before meeting their prospective baby daddies.
“They know about you before you even get there. So, son, that’s the bad part of the life you gon’ get is you never gon’ meet a good woman.”
LaVar told his son that even if he meets a 30-year-old woman:
“You got to wonder why she’s by herself at 30. There’s something that’s dangerous no matter how good they look. But, have a good time son. I feel bad for you, but hey, I love the fact you made it.”
