I was thinking about these people and this whole situation, and maybe because naturally I am an optimist, or maybe it’s wishful thinking, I could not help but think that while this is a tragedy on a phenomenal scale, I am really praying that this will help this country and the people of this country. Many times blessings are born out of tragegy and I hope this is one of those situations. Haiti and the suffering of the people of this country have been ignored for a long time and NOW they can no longer be IGNORED! Sometimes when we as humans fail one another GOD steps in and MAKES us have to help our neighbor, MAKES us have to help our fellow man. Even though I know it will take time, with the help of the US and other countries, I PRAY that Haiti will not only get restored, but will be better than it was before and it WILL. The people of Haiti are a strong people, they WILL get through this, but it is going to take a lot of prayers, donations and comittments from people who are willing to help for the LONG HAUL. Believe it or not…jealousy is the reason keyshia cole is mad at her family.
im an insider and i know the truth, so please take my word for it and dont come cursing me out on some dumb stuff. here it is.
keyshia coles last album pretty much failed compared to what they thought it would do. Keyshia cole changed her image and tried to get more structured and commercial and it backfired. It didnt do as good as her team thought it would and she was very upset. I think her album failed simply cause the music wasnt as good and she made horrible choices for her singles. Keyshia cole thinks it was promotion and her family.
Keyshia cole is blaming them for puttin a cloud around her image, but that was okay so long as it boosted her rating and made her more famous. However when she would go on interviews like the one she did with “the view” (you can see on youtube) and majority of the questions were about here family and not her she felt dumb.
She felt like people cared more about her family than they did her and her music.
She cut them off after that. They felt betrayed by her cause they was like damn… we yo family. We put our lives and our business out there to help you be successful and promotion. However, now when you blow up you dont want us around. They felt used by keyshia…
keyshia didnt want to continue the show and that was okay with bet. They wanted to continue it with just frankie and neffe. Keyshia was mad. She didnt want that because she feared they would become more relevant than her and obsolete her music career.
Her family felt like.. “hey, we did this together. We are supposed to be a team. You were gold before you put the show out with us on it, now your a platnium artist…largly due to the promo of the show” they felt like keyshia went hollywood on them and didnt appreciate what they did for keyshia. (appearing on her show and putting their lives out their to help her career)
for the record: Keyshia cole does not support them financially and never really has. Neffe said she hates to ask keyshia for anything. “going to her is like applying for welfare” she said it on the show and they talked about it publically. Keyshia said it herself how neffe is afraid to come to her for things.
So this is not about them being leaches and wanting money. Lets get that straight.
This is about keyshia wanting to seperate herself from them to become more famous and universal. Basically…distancing herself from them and everything about them. Not because she doesnt like who they are, or they have done something to her.
But because she wants to make more money by appealing to a larger market. Get it?
So naturally her family feels betrayed. Please…try seeing it from “their” side! Neffe and frankie put all their busines out. The first show they were not given checks by bet to be on that show. Keyshia was! They were nothing. They agreed to do her show and put their loves out their.
For keyshia and to help her career! They had no desire to have a career at all at that point. That show helped keyshias career severly. Look up the statistics. Her record sales trippled after that show. (fact)
so now that she has gotten to that point she wants to be international star and more universal so she cuts them off. Thats not right. I understand keyshia wanting success, but dont do that to your family that way and for that reason.
This is not about them bringing her down, leaching off her or anything. It’s jealousy that she isnt the only star in her family. (i know that hard to believe, but its true) she hates for anyone to ask her about frankie when shes promoting her album. But everywhere she goes, before they ask about the music,they ask about her fam. That made her feel inferior to them.
Also…keyshia cole is the type of woman who makes a man her god. *meaning* when she gets a man…she disowns everyone close to her. Doesnt call, doesnt come around. Isnt there for you.he will do any and everything for her man, but never nothing for people who have always been around.dont wanna work.just be under him all day.(yall know what kind chick im talkin about! However, when its over she always comes around and only talks and thinks about herself.

I’m debating on whether or not I should go natural or not…. I don’t like perming my hair and thanks for the advice because I do want my hair longer naturally…
@ missy no prob…once I stopped with the perms it was like opening the flood gates! Before my hair was at my earlobe and now its past my shoulders. If u don’t want to go completely natural you can still get a texterizer maybe 1 or 2 times a year to kinda calm your texture and your hair will still grow, a couple of my friends took that route instead of going completely natural.
@Cheeks-I only use my creamy crack 3 or 4 times….I think I will go down to 1 or 2 times…..But that creamy crack is hard to break…
