A lawsuit names Tory Lanez as the driver of a car that hit a woman who was 4 months pregnant at the time.
According to TMZ, Tory is being sued by a couple named Krisha and Jesse Grullon, who say he sideswiped their car with his luxury vehicle in Miami on New Year’s Day 2021.
The couple said Tory fled the scene after the accident, but they wrote down his tag number.
The troubled rapper’s attorney, Andell Brown, says it’s all lies. Brown tells TMZ the couple’s lawsuit is baseless and will be laughed out of court.
The hit-and-run allegedly happened in January, but Brown said the claim wasn’t made to Tory’s insurance until July.
According to TMZ, the initial report they gave cops said the car was silver, but the car’s color was changed to green in the lawsuit.
Brown said once the insurance company investigated, they determined there was no basis to the claim.
Brown says the couple simply looked up Tory’s license plate online and tried to pin the accident on him because he’s considered a troublemaker.
Tory is out on bond awaiting trial in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting case.
