Adidas is the latest brand to cut ties with Ye, formerly Kanye West, over his anti-Semitic remarks.
The decision was announced early Tuesday, ending a lucrative partnership that could cost the music producer $250 million in annual net income.
“Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness,” adidas said in a statement on Tuesday.
Earlier this month, adidas announced it was reviewing its 9-year partnership with Ye in light of his comments and the “white lives matter” t-shirt controversy in Paris, France.

The German conglomerate was under pressure to drop Ye when other corporations parted ways with him.
After calling for “def con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE,” in a tweet, Ye wrote, “I can say antisemitic things and Adidas can’t drop me.”
The company has come under fire for its Nazi history. Adidas was founded in Germany in the 1920s by Nazi sympathizers, brothers Rudolf and Adolf “Adi” Dassler.
Dassler later founded the sportswear company Puma.
Ye is still worth a billion or 2, but his money is dwindling as a result of lost corporate partnerships. Friends are concerned that Ye is burning through millions of dollars a day.
Luckily, he doesn’t pay child support to ex-wife Kim Kardashian for their four children. She is reportedly a billionaire herself.
