Alicia Keys and Justin Bieber are scheduled to perform at rapper Takeoff‘s star-studded memorial service at State Farm Arena in Atlanta this Friday.
Alicia was added as a performer on Wednesday, TMZ reports.
The memorial service will begin at 12 noon on Friday. Tickets are sold out.
The free tickets were offered online on Tuesday for the 20,000 seat arena.
No one will be allowed inside State Farm Arena without a ticket. Photos and video are prohibited.
Takeoff was shot and killed outside a bowling alley in downtown Houston on Nov. 1. He was 28.
Alicia paid tribute to the slain rapper on Twitter, writing, “This is too much. It’s like every day. RIP Takeoff. Sending light to your family and loved ones. We are losing too many too soon!!”
Alicia and the Migos appeared on Kanye West‘s Donda album.
According to an insider, Houston businessman James Prince Sr‘s sons, J. Prince Jr. and Jas Prince plan to attend Takeoff’s memorial service to pay their respects.
Takeoff was in Houston to attend J. Prince Jr’s private party at a bowling alley when he was killed.
Insiders don’t expect murder charges in the case because the alleged connections between James Prince Sr and the Houston PD run deep.
Several rappers with ties to the Prince family are spreading the word that Takeoff’s murder was an accident, not a homicide.
Rapper 21 Savage, who will attend the memorial service with Drake, told DJ Akademiks that Takeoff’s murder was a “freak accident” and an “eye opener” for other rappers.
One YouTube vlogger was so outraged over 21 Savage’s statement that he threatened to dig up the rapper’s marriage certificate to expose his marriage to an unknown woman.
The vlogger claims 21 Savage, who is British, married the woman so he could remain in the US following his immigration arrest in 2019.
The vlogger said the alleged sham marriage is the reason 21 Savage is never seen in public with his rumored girlfriend, rapper Latto.
