Summer Walker is celebrating reaching her goal of giving birth to several children before age 30.
Summer is a mother-of-three at age 26. She gave birth to twins over the weekend with the help of R&B singer and doula Erykah Badu.
Summer shared a video of her 7-hour labor before delivering her children naturally at home. Summer shares her twins with her now ex-boyfriend Larry. She also has a 22-month-old daughter with music producer London On Da Track.

Afterward, she ate her placenta. “Eating your placenta will definitely keep you above water,” she said.
The proud mom announced her twins’ arrival on social media.
“I’m so proud of myself. Just sharing to inspire other women, ’cause I know once you carry twins to almost 42 weeks, especially with one breech, people will try to steer you towards induction or C-section (which, there’s nothing wrong with these, I just didn’t want it for myself). You can do it, this was my second home birth, all natural, seven hours, no tearing, and I couldn’t [have] done it without my spirit guides, godparents, birth team, my elders and the best dad doula ever, Larry (laughs).”
In a follow-up post, she wrote: “I really reached my goal of hella kids before 30. I’m so happy lol. Their [sic] all so sweet.”
Health experts say women should get pregnant between your late 20s and early 30s.
According to Healthline.com, a study showed the best age to give birth to a first child is 30.5.
The maximum age for childbirth is 34. After that, human eggs are considered past their expiration date and could pose risk of pregnancy complications and genetic defects.
