Kim Zolciak has filed for divorce from Kroy Biermann after 11 years of marriage. In her divorce petition, Kim said the marriage is “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.”
According to TMZ, the unemployed reality TV star listed her separation date from the ex NFL player as April 30.
The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star and Kroy share four children, ages 11, 10 and 9-year-old twins. Kroy also legally adopted Kim’s daughters, Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21.
Kim met the former Atlanta Falcons player in 2010 after attending a Dancing With Atlanta Stars charity event. They tied the knot just one year later in November 2011.
The divorce comes amid news that Kim and Kroy owe the IRS over $1 million in unpaid taxes.
Kim and Kroy allegedly did not file taxes in 2013, 2017 and 2018.
The reality stars also reportedly owe the state of Georgia $15,000 in unpaid taxes from 2018.

The couple’s Alpharetta mansion was set to be sold on the courthouse steps in March. But they were able to save their home with a home equity loan.
They initially paid $880,000 for the home inside the affluent Manor Golf and Country Club in 2012. The house is now worth between $2.5 and $2.6 million.
The mansion was featured on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Kim’s own reality show titled, Don’t Be Tardy, which was canceled after 8 seasons.
Despite nearly losing her home, Kim took viewers on a tour of her mansion, showing off her high end furniture and well-appointed decor.
“You guys, can you believe it? I’m still in my house. You lying sacks of sh*t!” Kim said.
