Marques Houston and his wife Miya announced they are expecting the birth of their second child.
“Here we grow again,” Miya, 22, captioned an Instagram post showing off her baby bump.
In a follow-up Instagram post, the pregnant housewife and mom wrote: “It’s giving MOTHER. Can’t wait to meet our newest little blessing. Mommy loves you so much!”
Marques, 42, faced criticism for dating Miya when she was an underaged teenager. They met at a Jehovah’s Witness gathering in 2016. They began dating when Miya was barely 16.
They often went door-to-door together, recruiting others into their faith.
Marques and Miya were engaged in 2019 and married in August 2020.
They are parents to daughter Zara Houston.
The R&B singer/actor is a founding member of the boy band Immature, later renamed IMx.
Marques is best known for his role as Roger on the ’90s TV sitcom “Sister, Sister,” starring twins Tia and Tamera Mowry.
He also voiced a character in the 1992 animated comedy film “Bebe’s Kids.”
Marques and Miya are still devout members of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Their religion considers marriage to be permanent.
