Kodak Black is currently cooling his heels behind bars at the Broward County Jail following his arrest on cocaine possession charges.
The Florida rapper was arrested Wednesday, Dec. 7, and charged with cocaine possession in Plantation, Fl, according to the Sun Sentinel.
The rapper was also charged with tampering with physical evidence and improperly stopping or parking his vehicle.
Black is scheduled to appear before a judge for an arraignment hearing on Thursday afternoon.
This is the latest in a long list of legal troubles for Black, whose real name is Bill Kapri.
The “Super Gremlin” rapper was accused of trafficking oxycodone and possession of a controlled substance in Fort Lauderdale in 2022. He was reportedly carrying nearly $75,000 in cash. He was released on $75,000 bond.
In June 2023, an arrest warrant was issued for Kodak after he failed to take a routine urine drug test in February.
Black would still be languishing in prison today if former President Trump hadn’t pardoned him in 2021. Black was serving time in prison for weapons charges.
In 2022, the rapper helped pay rent for 28 West Palm Beach families facing eviction, according to local station WPTV.
