Katt Williams went viral this week after his explosive interview on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast. Katt accused fellow comedian Cedric The Entertainer of stealing his jokes.
He also roasted Steve Harvey, Kevin Hart, Rickey Smiley, Faizon Love and more.
Katt’s comments opened a window into the secretive world of Black comedy where mistrust and joke theft accusations fly like bullets.
Now standup comedian Corey Holcomb (pictured) claims Katt stole another comedian’s joke. Corey addressed the issue of joke thievery on Thursday night.
“I dare somebody to say this ain’t true ’cause I can get a thousand comics to back me up,” he said in a phone call.
Corey recalls Katt stole one of JB Smoove’s jokes on his first TV comedy special. In the comedy skits, both comedians walk out to a music intro and explain why “That’s my sh*t!”
However, Corey claims JB did it first.
