Former boxing champ Mike Tyson is set to fight Jake Paul on Netflix in July. Tyson, 57, retired with a 50-6 win-loss record. Jake Paul, a 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer, has a 9-1 boxing record.
Netflix announced the boxing match for July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Tyson will be 58 by the time of the fight.
It’s not clear if the fight is an exhibition or a celebrity boxing match, according to reports. A professional boxing match must be sanctioned by the Texas’ combat sports commission.
The fight will stream live on Netflix. There will be no pay-per-view.

Paul called the boxing match “The biggest fight of the 21st century.”
Tyson’s last pro fight was an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. in November 2020. The former champs fought to a draw.
Paul has had success against established boxers, despite starting his boxing journey for content on his popular YouTube channel.
Paul had a first-round knockout of Ryan Bourland less than a week ago.
Tyson has kept himself in shape by training boxers, including Francis Ngannou for his boxing debut against Tyson Fury.
