NBA journalist Taylor Rooks kept her man off of social media until he said “I do” in a “secret” wedding ceremony in New York.
Taylor, 33, shocked her followers by posting photos from the ceremony on Instagram on Wednesday.
“What a night. This is love,” she wrote.

Invited guests included sports stars Kevin Durant (who cut and lined his hair for the special occasion); Draymond Green, Saquon Barkley, and Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell and his fiancee Coco Jones.

Other non-sports guests included Jack Harlow, La La Anthony, and Rooks’ “Two Personal” podcast co-host Joy Taylor.
“The most amazing night. The speeches will never be topped. love you forever!” Taylor wrote, while La La Anthony added: “Love conquers all!!!! I love you. I’m so happy for u both!! Best wedding ever!!!!”
While Taylor has not publicly revealed her husband’s name, a menu card from the reception suggests his first name is Shane, according to Complex.
Other stars who congratulated the happy couple on social media include 2 Chainz, Tinashe, H.E.R., and Chlöe Bailey, who wrote: “You guys are such a beautiful couple!!! i love you and i’m so happy for you.”
