Monica’s longtime fiancé Anthony Wilson surprised her with a brand new Mercedes-Maybach SUV. Monica had just arrived home from a trip to Detroit when Anthony surprised her with the extravagant gift as she got out of an Uber.
Cell phone video shows Monica overcome with emotion as she walked into the garage and saw her new wheels.
“Oh, my God! I would have never expected this!” said the R&B diva. She wore a dark tee, grey sweatpants and a ball cap turned backwards.
Monica took a moment to brag about Anthony, who is singer Chris Brown’s longtime manager.
“The truth of the matter is that this man thinks of me when I’m not even thinking of myself,” she narrated the video. “I just like to pour into the people I love, and I never really think about myself. But he’s always thinking about me.”

Monica’s daughter, Laiyah, was there to share the special moment with her mom.
Mo’s fans praised Anthony for his thoughtful gift. Monica, 44, and Anthony, 49, began dating in 2023.
Earlier this month, they pranked her fans by pretending to get married at a courthouse in Detroit.
They were actually there to attend a friend’s wedding. The friend, hairstylist Kendra P, got married to a local rapper on Sunday (August 3). She thanked Monica and Anthony for attending her wedding as guests.
“Thank you for coming to my wedding. I wish I would’ve got a chance to take pictures with you!” Kendra P. wrote.
