Cardi B took the witness stand on day 2 of her civil trial in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Video footage of her testimony hit the Internet and went viral.

The line of questioning took a turn when a lawyer asked the rapper if her platinum blonde hair is real.
“Yesterday, you had black hair, short hair. Today it’s blond and long,” lawyer Ron Rosen told her. “Which one is your real hair, or are they both real?”
DJ Akademiks commented on Cardi B's court appearance, suggesting she should have settled by paying the woman $100,000. He noted that with Cardi’s weekly expenses at $750,000, the payment would be minor, and the time spent in court isn’t worth it pic.twitter.com/ObRdwppX7p

Instead of immediately answering, Cardi B looked at the lawyer as if she thought he was joking.
“They’re wigs,” she said with a smile.
The lawyer complimented her wig maker: “It’s a good wig then,” he said.
Rosen then asked if the rapper was affiliated with a street gang.
Cardi’s lawyer objected to that question. The judge sustained the objection and Rosen moved on.
He asked how long it would take her to change her nails to be three inches long.
A Los Angeles security guard filed a lawsuit against Cardi B for spitting on her and scratching her face with a 3.5 inch fingernail.

Emani Ellis is suing Cardi B for assault, using racial slurs, kidnapping, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
The incident happened in 2018 at a Beverly Hills obstetrician’s office, where Cardi had a prenatal appointment.

Cardi was reportedly upset because she thought the security guard recorded her with her phone.
Cardi B was 4 months pregnant and her pregnancy was not yet public.
Emani testified that Cardi took a “swing” at her while shouting obscenities, mocking her weight and dissing her job as a security guard.
Emani said the rapper used her celebrity status to get her fired from her job as a security guard.
However, a rep for the medical building tells TMZ, Cardi’s doctor and patient coordinator were the ones who got Emani fired for violating Cardi’s HIPAA privacy.
The rep says Cardi gave them permission to release that information publicly.
Cardi was 4 months pregnant with her daughter Kulture when she got into the altercation with the security guard.
