Tip Harris, aka “T.I.”, released his first comedy special on Christmas Eve, titled “Cheaper Than Therapy.”

Tip claims he took up comedy because it’s cheaper than therapy.

The “King of the South” is determined to transition from rapping to being an acclaimed stand-up comedian.

In the teaser for his comedy special, Tip wears a red leather suit similar to the iconic red suit worn by Eddie Murphy in his 1983 HBO TV special, “Delirious.”

Tip’s comedy special debuted on December 24 and is available exclusively at TipAintFunny.com.

While some artists flirt with stand-up comedy as a side hustle, Tip takes his comedy foray seriously as a second career.

Comedy fans don’t appreciate his tenacity. They booed Tip at small clubs and he’s been booed at large venues like The Laugh Factory and The Improv. But there are no boo birds in his comedy special.

Someone uploaded Tip’s entire comedy special on a manosphere board on Christmas Day. I won’t post the link here.

In the clip, Tip discussed his family, children, rap career, masculinity, aging, and how he met his lovely wife, Xscape singer Tameka “Tiny” Harris.

Being funny is one of the requirements to be a headlining comedy act. Tip knows he’s not funny. That’s why he named his website TipAintFunny.com.

His arrogance served T.I. well as a Gammy-winning rapper, but probably not as a comedian.
