The purpose of the concert is probably to raise as much money as possible. I am pretty sure that in addition to the proceeds of the concert he will donate his own funds as well. I think Chris Martin will too. Think of it as a raffle or a fish fry, but on a larger scale.
If it was TI and Tiny this story would be a whole lot different. SMDH!
