Last week a judge released rapper Pooh Shiesty’s father, Lontrell Williams Sr, on home confinement. But another judge revoked his bond on Friday.

Prosecutors in Dallas filed to have Williams’ release order revoked and extradite him to Dallas.

Williams Sr. and Pooh Shiesty are among 9 people arrested on April 1 in connection with the armed robbery and kidnapping of rapper Gucci Mane and 2 other men at a Dallas recording studio on January 10, 2026.

Prosecutors say Pooh Shiesty, his father, and aspiring rapper Big30 lured Gucci and 2 others to a Dallas studio, where he and eight other men held them at gunpoint. The gang robbed them and forced Gucci Mane to sign paperwork releasing him from a recording contract.

Williams Sr. was arrested on April 1 at his Memphis, Tennessee home during a federal raid. He is accused of being the mastermind behind the robbery in Dallas. His son, Pooh Shiesty, is accused of being the “ringleader.”

Big30, real name Rodney Williams, was arrested on April 1 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was released on $100,000 bond and ordered to remain on home confinement.

Prosecutors said Shiesty and the others should remain in jail without bond because they face a potential life sentence, they pose a flight risk and the case involves a felony with firearms.

Shiesty is due back in court in Dallas on Wednesday, April 8.
