Mariah Carey is unbothered by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame leaving her off its induction list. Her fans don’t care either.

This year’s list includes Sade, Pink, Melissa Etheridge, Jeff Buckley, New Edition and the Wu-Tang Clan.

TMZ caught up with Mariah outside The Peninsula Hotel in New York City on Monday. The outlet asked Mariah for a response to the snub. Mariah shrugged and said “Who cares!”

Fans outside her SUV agreed. They said the Rock & Roll Hall is not worthy of the Queen of R&B and Pop.

They told her she is the prize and that the Hall disrespected her by not giving it to her. Mariah thanked them and made it clear she loves her fans always.

Mariah was nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2026 but she didn’t make the final list despite her 19 No. 1 hits and massive influence on pop and R&B.

Her fans say the Hall is not an authority on R&B music, and the Hall should get with the program and change the name to the Music Hall of Fame.

In January, Mariah was named MusiCares’ 2026 Person of the Year.

“I don’t call myself a legend,” she told Billboard at the time. “I’m just still working, still trying hard.”

“I’ve always worked really hard, because I knew that I wanted to be here for a long time. The one lesson I’ve learned is to just be true to yourself. And I was fortunate enough to be able to do that. There were some things along the way that weren’t ideal, you know, but here I am.”

Switching subjects, Mariah told TMZ she recently purchased a new home outside New York City after listing her NYC triplex penthouse for $27 million.
