Gossip blogger Milagro Cooper, a.k.a. “Milagro Gramz,” asked a judge to stop rapper Megan Thee Stallion’s efforts to collect a $75,000 judgment.

Megan won part of her defamation lawsuit against Milagro last year. A Miami jury found that Milagro was liable for defaming Megan, and intentionally inflicting emotional distress by coordinating with incarcerated rapper Tory Lanez and his father to defame Megan.

But the jury also found that Milagro qualified as a “media defendant,” and Megan was not entitled to $30 million in damages. So the presiding judge thew out the defamation verdict.

The jury awarded the Grammy-winning rapper just $75,000 in damages. Megan filed a motion to reinstate the defamation verdict.

In his May 29, 2026 order, Chief U.S. District Judge Cecilia M. Altonaga ruled that Megan’s motion to reinstate the defamation verdict was granted in part.

Altonaga’s ruling reversed the earlier dismissal of the defamation count and restored the jury’s finding that Milagro was liable for defamation.

Cooper, who is representing herself, filed a motion on June 2 asking the judge to stop Megan from collecting the $75,000 judgment while she appeals.

Milagro already filed an appeal with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

In her appeal filing, Milagro described herself as a self-employed media commentator whose income is derived from donations and subscriptions from her audience. She said her revenue fluctuates from month-to-month.

Milagro said she is a mother of 2 children and she does not own substantial property and assets that can be liquidated to satisfy the judgment.

Additionally, Milagro asked the court to pause a bond that is required to be paid when a defendant appeals a verdict.
