A$AP Rocky, 36, and the Grammy-winning singer, 37, share two sons — 3-year-old RZA and Riot Rose, who turns 2 in August.

A$AP Rocky confirmed reports that they’re having a girl during the world premiere for the movie Smurfs on Monday.

“It is, man, it is” he said when asked if their unborn baby was the girl he’d been hoping for.

He said they plan to continue having more children. “We’re going to be like the Wayans family, you know?” he joked, referencing the 10 Wayans siblings. “I mean, love is beautiful, and it’s just spreading it.”

A$AP previously confirmed on Seth Meyers’ talk show that their third child’s name will begin with “R.”

In a 2024 interview, Rihanna said, “I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl. But of course, if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”

In February, after his acquittal in a felony assault case, A$AP and Rihanna joked that they would name their third child after his attorney, Joe Tacopina.

Ashanti called out her rapper husband, Nelly, for refusing to help out with their infant son Kareem “KK” Haynes, born July 2024.

The 44-year-old “Foolish” singer and the “Dilemma” rapper have different parenting styles in their new reality TV series, “Nelly & Ashanti: We Belong Together” that premiered recently on Peacock TV.

In a viral clip from the series, Nelly, 50, refuses to change baby KK’s diapers. He’s on tour, and Ashanti is stuck at home with their son.

“I’m split about his tour,” Ashanti said in a confessional on the series. “My first response is that I’m super happy for him for putting [the tour] together. The wife and mommy side of me is like f***!”

She joked: “Let me call Live Nation because I don’t like this at all. Nah, the wife side of me and the mommy side of me is still a little sad. You know, daddy’s gonna be gone for a long time.”

Ashanti tells Nelly that staying at home with a baby is “a lot.” But Nelly reassures her that she’s going to be fine.

“It’s all on you,” Nelly says to her. “I ain’t even gonna lie, I ain’t got nothing for him.”

In a later scene, Nelly explains that he’ll take over when their son is old enough to say he’s hungry. “Until he can say, ‘I need to use the bathroom,’ it’s gonna be a lot on your lap,” Nelly tells Ashanti.

Nelly is like a lot of fathers who are not nurturers – they’re providers.

Later, the “Hot in Herre” rapper tells his friends, “As soon as he start walking, I told her, I said, ‘Enjoy. Because as soon as he get to walking and talking, he with the crew.'”

Ashanti asked Nelly how he can sleep when the baby cries at night.

Nelly responds, “Do y’all really be up at night? I heard about it.”

Ashanti says, “You know what? It’s absolutely ridiculous that you’ll still be dead sleep and he’ll be mad loud.”

“I don’t even hear y’all,” Nelly claims. He said it’s “a gift” to be able to sleep while a baby’s crying. “I’m blessed with that tune-out.”

Nelly reminded Ashanti of a conversation they had before she kicked him under the table. Nelly said, “Baby, I’ll give you the world, I just ain’t changing no diapers.”

Nelly has two grown children, Chanelle, 31, and Cornell, 26, by ex-girlfriend Channetta. He also adopted his late sister Jackie’s kids, Shawn and Sydney, when Jackie died of leukemia in 2005 at age 31.

NaLyssa Smith Traded to Las Vegas Aces After Breaking Up with Dallas Wings Teammate

Last week I told you that the WNBA featured 4 lesbian couples playing together on the same teams. That statistic is unprecedented among professional sports teams.

The WNBA defies the rules about fraternizing in the workplace. Besides being unprofessional, having teammates sleeping with each other causes drama and conflicts of interest among teammates.

What happens if the couples start arguing and fighting in the locker room? What if they decide not to play together and just not show up for practice or game days? Now you have teammates who refuse to speak to each other.

According to Lesbian Twitter, NaLyssa, 24, and her Dallas Wings teammate, guard DiJonai Carrington, 27, broke up and they’re not on speaking terms.

Before the rumors could hit the blogs on Monday, Dallas hastily traded the 6-foot-4 NaLyssa to the Las Vegas Aces for a first-round pick in the 2027 WNBA draft.

The trade happened so quickly that it caught NaLyssa off guard.

She wrote on X: “sick to my stomach dawg , never seen this coming but .. i love you dallas nation, thank you 4 everything.”

Apparently, Dallas valued DiJonai Carrington over her moody ex-girlfriend. The Aces is NaLyssa’s second team in the same year. She was traded by the Indiana Fever to Dallas earlier this year. Indiana fans were glad to see her go.

Karmelo Anthony supporters demand refunds after family requested $1.4M more in donations

Karmelo Anthony’s supporters are demanding refunds after he filed indigent status and requested more donations. The Karmelo Anthony Help Fund raised nearly $600,000 following his arrest for the fatal stabbing of a high school football player in April.

Karmelo’s rep submitted an indigent packet requesting a public defender. The rep told a Collin County judge that he is broke and can’t afford to cover his legal fees.

His family updated their GiveSendGo page to request $1.4 million in donations for legal fees and other living expenses.

That’s news to his supporters who previously donated money to help Karmelo.

Karmelo, 18, faces 1st-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of Austin Metcalf, 17, during a high school track meet on April 2. Austin was pronounced dead at the scene.

Karmelo was indicted by a Grand Jury on June 23. He faces a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted.

Karmelo told police he acted in self-defense after Austin put his hands on him. However, surveillance footage viewed by the Daily Mail showed no provocation before the stabbing.

The footage, which has not been released to the public, shows no “physical confrontation” between Austin Metcalf and Karmelo Anthony before Anthony fatally stabbed him, according to the Texas Bureau Chief for the Daily Mail.

The Daily Mail viewed the footage at the Frisco Independent School District’s headquarters in Frisco, Texas.

Reporters were not allowed to take photos or record video of the screen. Karmelo approached the Memorial High School tent to take shelter out of the rain on April 2.

Austin told him to leave the tent but he refused. “Touch me and see what happens,” said Karmelo, a straight-A student at Centennial High School.

The Daily Mail reporter did not detect anything that indicated chaos was about to ensue in the video.

Then, suddenly, students fled out of the tent. “Moments later, at least two people can be seen carrying an injured Metcalf down the bleachers to a walkway at the bottom of the seating area,” the outlet reported.

“As rain begins to fall again, Metcalf is visibly cradled in the arms of his twin brother, Hunter, bleeding heavily as they await emergency medical services.”

Karmelo was released on $250,000 bond and is on house arrest. His parents rented a comfortable $900,000 home in a gated community.

There are reports that the parents blew donations on luxury vehicles and shopping sprees at high end stores.

Some supporters are demanding refunds of their donations. But Austin’s supporters have no sympathy for them.

One person wrote on X (Twitter): “What did they think was going to happen? And why are they feeding money to a kid that clearly committed murder?”

Another person wrote: “After Anthony is convicted, Metcalf’s family attorney can attach liens on all the property and money they have grifted just like OJ.”

A third person wrote: “I don’t feel sorry for his supporters. They were siding with a cold blooded murderer.”

Sean Combs’ Private Jet On Standby As Jury Begins Deliberations

A private jet registered to a company owned by Sean Combs is on standby as eight men and four women began deliberations in his sex trafficking trial in Manhattan on Monday.

Deliberations began around 11:30 a.m. Jurors must reach a unanimous verdict in order to avoid a hung jury. Jurors will decide whether Combs is guilty of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, kidnapping, and transportation for the purposes of prostitution.

Combs smiled at his children as he left the courtroom during deliberations.

Combs’ children, Christian and Justin Combs, and Kim Porter’s son Quincy Brown were seen leaving the courthouse during deliberations on Monday.

Most court watchers believe federal prosecutors didn’t prove their case against Combs. During the 7-week trial, the jury heard from grown men and women who willingly participated in freak-offs with Combs, 55, and his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, 38.

The jury heard from Cassie herself who admitted she booked the male escorts and paid them in cash. Court watchers say the feds proved only that Combs is freaky and disrespectful toward women.

Two black jurors were removed during the trial for showing signs of favoritism toward Combs.

If Combs is acquitted, he will taste freedom for the first time since his indictment in September 2024.

Supreme Court justice says opting children out of gay or trans stories will cause ‘chaos’ in public schools

Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor warns “chaos” will ensue if public schools don’t mandate LGBTQ+ lessons in classrooms.

The U.S. Supreme Court recently ruled parents in Maryland can remove their children from mandatory LGBTQ+ classes.

In a 6-3 ruling, the Supreme Court said Maryland parents who have religious objections can opt to remove their children from classes using LGBTQ+ storybooks in public school.

Prior to the ruling, children as young as 5 were required to read or listen to storybooks like “Prince & Knight” about two male knights who get married, and “Love Violet” about two little girls who fall in love.

Another book, titled “Born Ready: The True Story of a Boy Named Penelope,” was about a girl who transitions to being a boy.

Opting students out of LGBTQ+ lessons will result in “chaos for this Nation’s public schools.”

Montgomery County Public Schools told teachers these lessons were mandatory and that children could not opt out. The public school system issued guidelines to teachers instructing them how to respond to children who opposed the lessons (“That comment is hurtful!”)

If a student asked, “What’s transgender?,” teachers were directed to say, “When we’re born, people make a guess about our gender and label us ‘boy’ or ‘girl’ based on our body parts. Sometimes they’re right and sometimes they’re wrong.”

After the Supreme Court’s historic ruling, Justice Sonia Sotomayor (one of 3 justices who voted no) claimed there “will be chaos for this nation’s public schools” and both children and schools will “suffer”.

In her opinion, Justice Sotomayor criticized the Court’s decision. She said LGBTQ+ lessons offer “children of all faiths and backgrounds an education and an opportunity to practice living in our multicultural society.”

Sotomayor said the Court’s ruling will pressure other school districts to avoid offering such classes.

She said allowing parents to opt out for every subject that conflicts with their religious beliefs “will impose impossible administrative burdens on schools.”

LGBTQ+ lessons is to “teach children what society needs them to know.”

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson previously stated that parents who objected to the lessons could simply remove their children from public schools.

State Rep. Lee Snodgrass (D-Wis.) also insisted: “If parents want to ‘have a say’ in their child’s education, they should homeschool or pay for private school tuition out of their family budget.”

Iowa school board member Rachel Wall said: “The purpose of a public ed is to not teach kids what the parents want. It is to teach them what society needs them to know. The client is not the parent, but the community.”

Porsha Williams is still grieving her cousin Yolanda “Londie” Favors who died suddenly while on the phone with Porsha’s sister, Lauren.

On Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Porsha discussed Londie’s death with co-star Phaedra Parks. Porsha explained that Londie was on the phone with Porsha’s sister Lauren when she passed.

In a scene at Phaedra’s house, Lauren said, “I’m just numb. We’re like sisters. We grew up… we were babies together.”

Porsha said she is still “going through a lot emotionally” months after Londie died in August 2024, just 2 weeks shy of her 35th birthday.

“Dealing with the loss of my cousin Londie… I’m going through a lot emotionally while being there for my family. She meant so much to all of us. So it’s pretty difficult,” Porsha said in a confessional on RHOA.

Londie worked closely with Porsha on the current season of RHOA. She also appeared on RHOA spinoff Porsha’s Family Matters, which ran for one season on Bravo in 2022.

RHOA viewers slammed Porsha for being “mean” to Londie on the show. They recalled how mean she was to Londie on her spinoff series.

One person wrote: “I will never forget how she made her cousin cry on her show, Porsha Family Matters. [Londie] was bawling her eyes because you was mad at her and cussing up a storm. Now she dead and you want to show grace.”

Another viewer wrote: “Hope Porsha treated her better [in real life] than she did on her spinoff show… she talked down to her… told Dennis [McKinley] to fire her as his assistant… she wasn’t nice to her at all.”

A third person commented: Porsha is full of crap! The fake love and tears like Bethenny Frankel when her ex Dennis died. She pretended they were still together and were engaged.. Phony people suck!”

One of 2 remaining fugitives who escaped from a New Orleans jail in May was captured at an Airbnb in New Orleans on Friday. U.S. Marshals caught up to Massey at the residence in the 9400 block of Stroelitz in Hollygrove.

The home was surrounded by a tall privacy fence that offered Massey the seclusion he was seeking while on the run from the law.

Authorities said a CrimeStoppers tip helped lead U.S. Marshals to his hideout. It isn’t clear who rented the Airbnb for Massey.

WWL-TV News spoke with the Airbnb owner who said she didn’t know what was going and she didn’t know who was staying at the residence.

The original CrimeStoppers tip said escapee Derrick Groves was also at the location. But he was not found at the house.

Law enforcement officers are still searching for the remaining fugitive, Derrick Groves, 27. One woman was arrested for helping Groves.

Massey and Groves were among 10 inmates who escaped from the Orleans Justice Center on May 16. The inmates received help from a maintenance man who turned off the water to a jail cell. The inmates fled through a wall behind the toilet, and scaled fences to make their getaway.

More than a dozen people were charged with helping the other inmates while they were on the run.

Massey was transferred under heavy guard to the Louisiana State Penitentiary, also known as the infamous Angola state prison. Angola is the largest maximum-security prison in the US. It is located on a former slave plantation along the Mississippi River.

“Antoine Massey has finally been recaptured in the Hollygrove area of New Orleans,” said Attorney General Liz Murrill in a statement. “He will now face additional charges for his role in the escape, and I’ll ensure that he will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Great work by all our law enforcement partners who have been working so hard for this outcome. One more to go!”

Beyoncé cheated death during the first night of her Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.

The 43-year-old pop star kicked off night 1 of her hometown stop on Saturday, June 28. She was performing “16 Carriages” when a prop car she was flying in suddenly jerked in mid-air and tipped to one side.

Beyoncé yelled “Stop!” repeatedly into the mic as the music cut off and the arena fell silent. The stage crew scrambled to get her down before the unthinkable happened.

Worried fans clutched their pearls as Bey held on for dear life while the malfunctioning red suede Cadillac dangled in the air above the horrified crowd.

“Get her down!” fans screamed as the nervous singer smiled and maintained her composure. Bey’s fans reported she mouthed the words, “Somebody’s getting fired.” But there’s no evidence she actually said that.

Beyoncé’s performance for her hometown fans had gone perfectly until the horrifying mishap.

The stage crew was able to get Beyoncé down safely. After regaining her composure, Beyoncé returned to the stage and thanked the crowd, “I want to thank y’all for loving me,” she said. “If ever I fall, I know y’all will catch me.”

After the show, Parkwood Entertainment released a statement saying, “a technical mishap caused the flying car, a prop Beyoncé uses to circle the stadium and see her fans up close, to tilt. She was quickly lowered and no one was injured. The show continued without incident.”

Beyoncé took to Instagram after the concert, and wrote, “I love you, Houston.”

Fans flocked to social media to post videos from the Houston show. One video showed what looked like the Grim Reaper leaving the NRG Stadium empty-handed.

Trump raves about an African reporter’s beauty: ‘You are beautiful. I’m not allowed to say that’

President Donald Trump paused his press conference in the Oval Office to compliment Angolan reporter Hariana Veras.

Trump complimented Veras during a peace signing ceremony between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda at the White House on Friday.

“I shouldn’t say this because it’s politically incorrect… She’s beautiful,” Trump said. “And you are beautiful.”

Trump continued, “I’m not allowed to say that, you know. That could be the end of my political career, but you are beautiful and you’re beautiful inside.”

The president added that he wished he had “more reporters” like Veras. He then asked Veras how long she’s been covering the African continent.

Veras said she worked as a journalist for 10 years and she covered Trump’s first administration.

“Yes, I know that. That’s great,” Trump said, while shaking her hand. “So nice. And I appreciate it.”

Anti-Trumpers took issue with the president complimenting an African woman. One X (Twitter) user wrote: “I would run a mile if I was her for his record of sexual misconduct allegations.”

Others said Trump was being manipulative and racist. TheGrio.com claimed Trump flirted with the stunning reporter.

A third person said, “A real Woman takes no offense to a Man, no matter the race, giving her a compliment.”
