Male employees at Meta are protesting the removal of menstruation products from men’s rooms in the company’s headquarters.
Meta (formerly the Facebook company) removed tampons from men’s rooms in company office buildings in accordance with President Trump’s DEI initiatives.
According to reports, some male employees are quietly rebelling by bringing their own tampons to work, The New York Times reports.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is pictured with Lauren Sanchez, fiancée of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, at Donald Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20.
Zuckerberg made sweeping changes at Facebook including removing restrictions on speech to “restore free expression” across his platforms.
He also changed Facebook’s “Hateful Conduct” policy to allow criticism of transgender identity.
Many users on X (formerly Twitter) expressed disappointment in the new policies. But others praised Zuckerberg, describing his changes as “common sense policies.”
One X user wrote, “This aligns with conservative values.”
Another person wrote: “Men who work for Meta needed tampons for what exactly?”
A third person wrote: “So you’re telling me they could have supplied their own this whole time? Who knew!!”
Fans couldn’t contain their excitement. Some fans believe she’s taking the Ozempic weight loss drug. One fan said the “All For You” singer looks a decade younger than her 58 years.

Fans don’t remember when Janet tipped the scales at 280 pounds when she was pregnant with her only child. But through diet and exercise she was able to lose the excess post-pregnancy weight.
One fan wrote on X: “Still looking fantastic God bless.”
Another person wrote: “Janet Jackson is giving Ozempic.”
A third person wrote: “It looks like Janet Jackson is taking Ozempic.”
Janet is the tenth and youngest child of the Jackson family. She is best known for her hit singles “Nasty”, “When I Think of You”, “Control”, “That’s the Way Love Goes”, and “Miss You Much.”
The 5x Grammy winner is the first and only artist in history to release seven top 5 hits from one album, Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation 1814.
In 2001, Janet joined her brother Michael as one of the few artists to score 10 Billboard Hot 100 number 1 singles.
A man who claims to be comedian Jamie Foxx’s son says he’s a “deadbeat dad”.
In an undated video shared on X on Friday, the man accused Foxx of being too “busy” to care about him. “He never supported my dreams,” the man said.
The man claimed he last met his alleged father on the red carpet at a premiere for Foxx’s move The Soloist in 2009.
“We took pictures at the red carpet — that’s my last time seeing him,” the man said in the video. He also said, “It’s been like 3 years, if I can remember.”
That led to X users mistakenly posting photos of Foxx with actor Justin Martin, who is not Foxx’s son.
President Trump has signed an executive order banning pronouns in email signatures. Federal employees at all agencies must remove pronouns from their email signatures by the end of day today, Jan. 31.
Federal employees are instructed to remove pronouns from everything from government grant applications to email signatures across the department, sources told ABC News.
“Pronouns and any other information not permitted in the policy must be removed from CDC/ATSDR employee signatures by 5 p.m. ET on Friday,” according to one internal memo obtained by ABC News. “Staff are being asked to alter signature blocks by 5.p.m. ET today (Friday, January 31, 2025) to follow the revised policy.”
Federal employees with the Department of Transportation (DOT) received a similar memo on Thursday, while they are still investigating the deadly plane crash at Reagan Washington National Airport.
Trump supporters expressed concern that the president is targeting transgender people rather than bringing down grocery prices.
One X user wrote: “I voted for President Trump twice, but this isn’t helping bring down egg prices or make gas more affordable.”
Another user wrote: “Wow, this is a huge step back for inclusivity and respect.”
A third person wrote: “So that’s the secret plan to lower egg prices?”
Angel Reese is the first ever female athlete to score her own signature meal with McDonald‘s corporation. McDonald’s announced the limited-time combo meal on Thursday, called “The Angel Reese Special.”
The meal comes with a quarter pounder sandwich, “unapologetically bold and smoky BBQ sauce,” crispy bacon and cheese, small fries, and a medium Hi-C Orange Lavaburst drink to wash it all down with.
If you’re worried about your weight, the Angel Reese Special is only 1,200 calories.
Angel celebrated her big deal by paying off her mom’s mortgage and retiring her.

“You said that if your mortgage was paid off, you would retire,” Angel Jr. told Angel Sr.
“So your mortgage today has been paid. You ain’t gotta worry about your mortgage no more!”
Angel Sr. was so shocked that she nearly dropped her cake. She thought the Four Seasons gift card Angel Jr. gave her earlier was the big surprise.
Angel Sr. burst into tears. It was a touching moment.
“That was my biggest goal in life was to retire you,” Angel Jr. said.
“You a hardworking woman. You don’t need me for no money. That’s what I can always say, you ain’t never need me for no money and I love that about you.”
Snoop, 53, addressed “all the hate” in an Instagram video, telling his followers, “I’ma answer with love.”
“Y’all can’t hate enough on me. I love too much. Get your life right. Stop worrying about mine,” the father-of-4 said in the video. “I’m cool. I’m together. Still a Black man. Still a hundred percent Black. All out ’til you ball out or ’til you fall out. I ain’t going nowhere.”
Snoop Dogg is calm and unbothered by critics of his performance at a Trump inauguration event:

After urging his fans to buy cryptocurrency on Crypto.com, Snoop said “We Gotta learn to pick each other up instead of putting each other down. That’s what we great at as Black people, we great at tearing each other down.”

The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper shared the stage with fellow rappers Rick Ross and Soulja Boy.
Rapper Nelly also performed at an inaugural event on January 20 – though he did not attend Trump’s swearing-in ceremony.
Snoop was very anti-Trump in 2016 when the former reality TV star shocked the world by defeating Hillary Clinton in the presidential election.
In a 2020 interview on Real 92.3, Snoop said he would vote in that year’s elections for the first time “because I can’t stand to see this punk in office one more year.”
The rap icon seemed to threaten Trump’s life when he pointed a prop gun at a Trump impersonator in a music video.

But Snoop has matured a lot since those days. In a January 2024 interview with The Sunday Times, Snoop said, “Donald Trump? He ain’t done nothing wrong to me. He has done only great things for me.”
Snoop was grateful after Trump pardoned Death Row Records co-founder Michael Harris, who served 30 years in prison following a drug charge conviction.
“I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump,” Snoop added.
WNBA Superstar Brittney Griner signed a 1 year contract with the Atlanta Dream after playing her entire career with the Phoenix Mercury.

“Free agency has been everything I wanted it to be,” Griner said earlier this week. “I was able to find where I wanted to go, and honestly what led me to that decision ultimately was the team, the players as individuals, and then, also, my family.”
Griner continued, “I’m thrilled for this chapter, my first time going into free agency, and it was cool. It was a hard decision because you’re leaving what you know, what I’ve known for my whole career. But there’s also a deciding factor of, OK, this is like a rebrand now. I get to show them something different.”

Griner is pictured with longtime Mercury teammate and WNBA superstar Diana Taurasi (left) during a game against the Connecticut Sun on July 5, 2018 in Phoenix, Arizona.
Griner is a 2× WNBA scoring champion, 8× WNBA blocks leader, and 2× WNBA Defensive Player of the Year. In addition to playing her entire career in Phoenix, Griner also played off-season in Russia and China.
In another blockbuster signing, the Dream acquired WNBA forward Brionna Jones, who played her entire career with the Connecticut Sun.
Jones is a three-time WNBA All-Star who won the Most Improved Player award in 2021.
Griner made headline news on February 17, 2022 when she was arrested in Russia for attempting to smuggle drugs through an airport. She was sentenced to 9 years hard labor and transferred to roughest toughest prison camp for women.
In December 2022 President Joe Biden made a controversial prisoner swap to bring her home.

The WNBA legend is seen greeting former Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade on the red carpet at The 2023 Met Gala in New York City.
Griner is currently hooping with the Phantom Ball Club in the first season of the Unrivaled 3-on-3 women’s basketball league.
The 6-foot-9 center said she decided to play for Phantom BC to “show off my skills for free agency.”
Griner met with other WNBA teams before settling on the Dream. The father-of-3 was the Mercury’s No. 1 overall pick in the 2013 draft out of Baylor University.
Dwyane Wade opened up about his “shocking” kidney cancer diagnosis, more than a year after 40% of his right kidney was removed.
The retired NBA player went under the knife in December 2023 to remove a cancerous tumor inside his right kidney. He revealed his diagnosis in Thursday’s episode of his “The Why With Dwyane Wade” podcast.

Wade shared the symptoms he experienced before he was diagnosed with kidney cancer. He said, aside from stomach issues and cramps, he wondered why his urine stream was “weak.”
“Why is my piss coming out slow, why is my stream ain’t powerful? Why is it a little weak?” he said.
Wade underwent an MRI imaging test that confirmed a cancerous tumor in his kidney.
The ex Miami Heat star said the cancer diagnosis was the “weakest point” of his life.
“I think it was the first time that my family, my dad, my kids, they saw me weak,” Wade said. “I saw my family that may not always talk, may not always agree. I saw everybody show up for me and be there for me,” the father-of-5 said.

Wade, 43, is married to actress Gabrielle Union, 52, with whom he shares daughter Kaavia, 6.
“As a man, you never want your family to see you weak,” he continued. “Don’t want to be perceived weak, don’t want to be seen in your weakest moments but I had to.”
The average 5-year survival rate for kidney cancer is 77.6%. The prognosis for kidney cancer is excellent if caught early.
President Donald Trump blames the previous administration’s DEI policies for the deadly mid-air collision that claimed 67 lives near Reagan National Airport on Wednesday night.
Trump said the Biden administration based hiring on physical characteristics and sexuality rather than on skills or the best person for the job.
GOP lawmakers argued that the FAA rejected qualified candidates for air traffic controller jobs because they were white men.
During a press briefing at the White House on Thursday, Trump said former presidents Joe Biden and Barack Obama prioritized politics over safety.
Trump rails against FAA DEI practices: "The FAA's diversity and inclusion hiring plan says diversity is integral to ensuring safe and efficient travel. A group within the FAA determined the workforce was too White. They actually came out with a directive saying it's too White." pic.twitter.com/0QjK8DN6ks
Trump called out former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, saying he was a “disaster”.
“Do you know how badly everything’s run since he’s run the Dept. of Transportation? He’s a disaster… He’s just got a good line of bullsh*t”, Trump said of Buttigieg.
Trump said Buttigieg ran the FAA “right into the ground with his diversity.”

Trump also read an article quoting the FAA’s job qualifications for air traffic controller candidates.
“The FAA’s diversity push includes focus on hiring people with severe intellectual and psychiatric disabilities — uh, that is amazing,” Trump said.
Trump continued, “FAA says people with severe disabilities are the most underrepresented segment of the work force and they want them in and… they can be air traffic controllers. I don’t think so.”

On his first day in office, Trump wrote an executive order terminating hundreds of federal DEI employees and dissolving their departments.
Trump’s comments about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) sparked an outcry in Washington, DC and on social media.
Lawmakers lashed out at Trump after his press briefing.
“I just watched President Trump’s news conference,” said Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer on the Senate floor.
“Listen, it’s one thing for internet pundits to spew off conspiracies, it’s another for the president of the United States to throw out idle speculation as bodies are still being recovered.”
Officials confirmed American Airlines Flight 5342 collided with a Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter on approach to a runway at Reagan Washington National Airport in Virginia at 8:48pm ET.
Both aircraft plunged into the Potomac River after the mid-air collision. 60 passengers and four crew members were on board the passenger jet.
3 Army soldiers were conducting night training on the helicopter. There were no survivors.
30 bodies were pulled from the Potomac River overnight. Reagan Washington National Airport resumed flights on Thursday afternoon.
The older brother of Oakland rap legend Too $hort was gunned down during a robbery at a warehouse in Oakland, California on Wednesday.
Wayne Shaw, 61, was fatally shot when he confronted a robbing crew at 7am at a warehouse on 49th Avenue near East 12th Street in East Oakland, police say.
Oakland Police Department Deputy Chief Frederick Shavies said the suspects rammed a car into a marijuana grow warehouse to gain access to the plants inside.
According to reports, multiple suspects ran into the warehouse while Shaw was asleep inside. When Shaw confronted the suspects, he was shot multiple times. Officers arriving at the scene found him suffering from gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
“The suspects arrived to the location,” Oakland police Lt. Gloria Beltran said. “They attempted to force their way into the property. While they were attempting their way in, the victim stepped out, was confronted by the suspects. The suspects fired several rounds at the victim.”
According to NBC Bay Area, investigators are unsure if Shaw was the intended target or if it was a random shooting. It isn’t clear if Shaw owned the marijuana grow house or just worked there.
Evidence markers littered the scene where bullet casings lay on the floor. A bullet-riddled Honda Civic was discovered abandoned nearby. Its owner reported the Honda stolen the night before. Police have not said whether the Honda is linked to the crime.
Too $hort, 58, is a pioneer of West Coast rap. His lyrics often glorified pimps, hookers and drug dealing.
He is best known for his hit singles “Blow the Whistle”, “Short But Funky”, “I’m a Player” and “The Ghetto.”
Too $hort has not publicly addressed his brother’s murder.
