Marcus Jordan was charged with cocaine possession, DUI, and resisting arrest after his Lamborghini got stuck on train tracks early Tuesday.

The youngest son of NBA legend Michael Jordan was booked into the Orange County Jail early Tuesday morning, TMZ reported.

According to a police report obtained by TMZ Sports, Marcus got stuck on the tracks after leaving a strip club around 1:14 AM in Maitland, Fla.

Police noticed Marcus’s headlights on a railroad, and when they approached the vehicle, they saw bumper damage from kicked-up rocks as he pressed the gas pedal to free his car from the tracks.

Officers suspected Marcus had just fled from a nearby traffic stop. During questioning, they detected a strong odor of alcohol on his breath.

Marcus told police he had taken a wrong turn and needed help getting his car off the tracks. Cops observed Marcus’s slurred speech and bloodshot eyes.

Cops ordered him out of the car but he refused. Officers eventually managed to drag Marcus out of the car.

Marcus failed three field sobriety tests. During a search of his pants pockets, officers found a white powdery substance that tested positive for cocaine.

Officers said Marcus was secured in the backseat of a patrol car and he sang all the way to jail.

Marcus is still in jail awaiting a bond hearing, according to TMZ.

Marcus, 34, is best known for dating cougar Larsa Pippen, a star on “Real Housewives of Miami” and ex-wife of ex-Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen.

His arrest comes months after Marcus was seen snorting a white powdery substance while on vacation with his current girlfriend, Ashley Stevenson.

Marcus and Ashley were staying at the Maybourne Riviera hotel in France when someone snapped photos of him apparently snorting drugs.

The photos went viral on social media. Michael Jordan’s fans chastised Marcus for tarnishing his father’s legacy.

One fan wrote on X: “Just out in the open, raw to the world?! He has no couth or decorum. Where the hell is Juanita??”

Fans said Ashley had a negative influence on Marcus because he was never this down bad when he was with Larsa.

MediaPunch / BACKGRID

Marcus dated Larsa, 50, from 2022 to 2024. The pair often clapped back at criticism over their age gap on social media.

Marcus and his older brother, 36-year-old Jeffrey, played basketball in college. They also have a sister named Jasmine, 32.

Marcus founded The Trophy Room store in Orlando, Florida. The store sells sportswear, footwear, and memorabilia.

So far, Michael Jordan nor his ex-wife, Juanita, have commented publicly on their son’s arrest.

Update: American woman in Pakistan is on her way back to the USA

An American woman who traveled to Pakistan to marry her teenage pen pal is on her way back to America after she overstayed her welcome.

Onijah Robinson, 33, from New York, was admitted to a psychiatric ward for a mental evaluation after traveling to Pakistan in October to meet 19-year-old Pakistani national, Nidal Ahmed Memon.

Robinson hoped Memon would propose to her after communicating with him for months.

However, Memon rejected Robinson and told her that his family would never approve their marriage. Robinson was left stranded in Karachi after her tourist visa expired.

She reportedly camped outside Memon’s apartment in Karachi for nearly 30 hours. But the entire family vacated the house in the middle of the night.

Robinson refused to leave the country until the government paid her $5,000 a week in American dollars. She told reporters she needed around $100,000 USD “to help rebuild Karachi.”

“I want 20K up front, 5K-10K to stay here every week, and I want those demands from the government right away”, she said in videos on TikTok.

Her story generated headlines in Pakistan and around the world.

Robinson’s family pleaded with her to get on a plane and come home, but she ignored their requests.

The police and social services encouraged Robinson to move to a women’s shelter before being admitted to a psychiatric ward at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.

According to News18, Robinson is on a plane headed back home to New York following her discharge from the mental hospital.

She reportedly received financial assistance from the Pakistani government.

Robinson’s son, Jeremiah Andrew Robinson, confirmed his mother has mental health problems that were not adequately addressed in America.

“My mother traveled to Pakistan to meet a man and his family. She was supposed to return within two weeks, but she never came back,” Jeremiah said.

He explained that he and his sibling made multiple attempts to convince their mother to return home, even purchasing a plane ticket for her, but she refused.

Robinson was previously arrested on a trespassing charge in South Carolina, according to online jail records.

The failed mental health system in America is on full display for the world to see.

Americans lack mental health support and resources. Hundreds of mental health hospitals and clinics were closed due to lack of government funding. Many Americans are mentally ill, but the majority of those in need of help go untreated.

American actress Countess Vaughn mocked Robinson in a TikTok video.

Alicia Keys celebrates diversity at Grammy Awards. ‘DEI is not a threat’ (Video)

The 67th Annual Grammy Awards was held at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday. Alicia Keys won 2 Grammy awards, including the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award.

Alicia, 44, took the opportunity to celebrate diversity in music by taking a subtle swing at President Donald Trump.

On Jan. 20, Trump signed an executive order laying off hundreds of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) federal employees.

He also angered many by blaming the deadly midair collision in Washington, DC on the previous Biden administration’s DEI hires.

“This is not the time to shut down the diversity of voices,” Alicia Keys said. “We’ve seen on this stage talented, hardworking people from different backgrounds with different points of view, and it changes the game. DEI is not a threat, it’s a gift,” she added.

Alicia also won a Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album award for her autobiographical “Hell’s Kitchen.”

Alicia took the time to credit her musical collaborators for their support.

“They saw in me what I did not see in myself,” said the mother of two, whose 9-year-old son, Genesis, stood next to her on stage.

Queen Latifah praised her friend after her speech.

“Alicia is a global force,” Latifah said of Alicia, who is the first female artist and the first non-rapper to receive the award.

Alicia posed for a family photo on the Grammys red carpet. She is seen with her husband, music producer Swizz Beatz, their sons Genesis, 10, and Egypt, 14, and Alicia’s mom Terria Joseph.

Alicia is best known for her debut album Songs in A Minor (2009). Despite the album’s titled, only one song, “Jane Doe,” was actually written in the key of A minor.

The album sold over 12 million copies and spawned the hit songs “How Come You Don’t Call Me”, “Fallin'”, and “A Woman’s Worth.”

Trump recognizes Tiger Woods, Harriet Tubman for Black History Month, But uses lowercase ‘b’ for Black people

AFP / MEGA

President Donald Trump recognized golf legend Tiger Woods and abolitionist activist Harriet Tubman in a proclamation on Friday.

Trump extended his “tremendous gratitude” to Black Americans for “all they have done to bring us to this moment” and any future contributions.

“Every year, National Black History Month is an occasion to celebrate the contributions of so many black American patriots who have indelibly shaped our Nation’s history,” Trump’s proclamation began.

“Their achievements, which have monumentally advanced the tradition of equality under the law in our great country, continue to serve as an inspiration for all Americans,” Trump said.

“American heroes such as Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, Thomas Sowell, Justice Clarence Thomas, and countless others represent what is best in America and her citizens,” Trump said in his statement.

Win McNamee/Getty Images

“We will also never forget the achievements of American greats like Tiger Woods, who have pushed the boundaries of excellence in their respective fields, paving the way for others to follow,” Trump added

However, Trump upset Black journalists when he used a lowercase “b” to describe Black Americans in his statement. They argued that using a lowercase b is disrespectful to Black Americans.

According to NewsOne, “A growing number of style guides for publications have adapted the capital B style in recent years when using variations of the word ‘Black’ that refer specifically to ethnicity and racial background.”

NewsOne writes that Trump’s use of the lowercase b was “obviously an intentional choice” – to use a lowercase B to address “black Americans,” which minimizes racial identity.

However, many Black Americans continue to use the lowercase b to refer to race in their social media posts.

“Capitalizing the ‘B’ in Black should become standard use to describe people, culture, art and communities. We already capitalize Asian, Hispanic, African American and Native American,” Sarah Glover, the past president of the National Association of Black Journalists, wrote in an op-ed from 2020.

The Diversity Style Guide, Associated Press, USA Today. the Atlantic, the Chicago Manual of Style and the New York Times all use capital B. NewsOne has used the uppercase B since its inception more than a decade ago.

Sandrarose.com is among a handful of bloggers who consistently use the uppercase B when referring to Black people. But the practice has not caught on as a standard in American journalism or on social media.

Film director Morgan J. Freeman satirically posted on X: “Trump orders the B in Black to be lowercase in all public documents, literature, movie scripts & text books. And orders the w in white to be an uppercase W.”

American Airlines pilot tried to gain altitude seconds before deadly collision

The pilots of an American Airlines passenger jet tried to gain altitude seconds before colliding with an Army helicopter over the Potomac River in Washington, DC on Jan. 29.

NTSB data shows the American Airlines pilots tried desperately to pull the jet’s nose up seconds before colliding with an Amry Black Hawk helicopter. A female co-pilot trainee was at the controls of the chopper.

The jet’s flight data recorder showed a slight change in pitch, according to an NTSB official.

MEGA/WENN

“At one point very close to the impact, there was a slight change in pitch, an increase in pitch,” National Transportation Safety Board member Todd Inman said at a Saturday evening news conference.

“The slight increase in pitch could mean the pilots tried to pull the plane up at the last second after noticing the helicopter fast approaching, Mary Schiavo, former inspector general at the Department of Transportation, told CNN Saturday.

“That tells us that they did not see the helicopter until just, you know, a second at impact,” Schiavo said. “But they had that one second to try to pull up.”

All 64 people on the plane and 3 soldiers in the military aircraft were killed.

At the time of the collision, the helicopter pilots were training for a scenario of an emergency evacuation of the President and other senior government officials.

Jonathan Koziol, an Army Chief of Staff, explained why Army Black Hawk helicopters fly so close to Reagan National Airport.

To carry out such an evacuation, pilots “do need to be able to understand the environment, the air traffic, the routes, to ensure the safe travel of our senior leaders throughout our government,” Koziol said.

However, Black Hawk pilots are not allowed to fly higher than 200 feet to avoid collisions with commercial jets landing at the airport.

The helicopter was flying far above 200 feet and about a half mile off course at the time of the midair collision.

Within hours of the midair collision, President Trump posted on his Truth Social app:

Donald Trump

On January 31, Trump posted:

Donald Trump

In a rare press conference by a sitting president at the White House, Donald Trump told reporters that the helicopter was flying above the allowed altitude.

Brad Bowman, a former Black Hawk pilot, told CNN that when flying past Reagan Airport, the helicopters drop down to their lowest altitude to avoid collisions with aircraft.

“Everyone has to be on their game and follow instruction exactly,” Bowman added.

Airline pilots have complained of near misses with helicopters at Reagan National Airport in the past.

Just recently a pilot aborted his landing at Reagan to avoid a collision with a Black Hawk helicopter that flew in the path of the plane.

But, Trump sparked outrage when he blamed the crash on the Biden administration’s DEI policies.

On Saturday, the Pentagon identified Captain Rebecca Lobach as the co-pilot who was at the controls of the helicopter.

The other soldiers on the helicopter were identified as the instructor pilot Chief Warrant Officer 2 Andrew Eaves, 39, and Staff Sergeant Ryan O’Hara, 28.

Lobach was named days after her family made an unusual request to withhold her identity from the public.

Her family said she had over 450 hours of flight time and had earned certification as a pilot-in-command.

Lobach also worked as a White House aide under the Biden administration. Last month she escorted designer Ralph Lauren through the White House as he accepted the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

“We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Rebecca,” the family said in a statement issued through the U.S. Army.

“She was a bright star in all our lives. She was kind, generous, brilliant, funny, ambitious and strong. No one dreamed bigger or worked harder to achieve her goals.”

Fans React after Kanye West and Bianca Censori’s Grammy Red Carpet Appearance

Kanye “Ye” West and his wife Bianca Censori were not kicked out of the Grammy Awards after her attention-grabbing stunt on the red carpet on Sunday.

The rapper, 47, and his wife, 30, shocked fans when she arrived wearing a long black fur coat. She then dropped her coat on the red carpet, revealing her naked bod under a sheer dress. She was not wearing panties or a bra.

Grammy officials did not take action when Bianca disrobed on the red carpet and stood naked in front of millions of shocked viewers at home.

Reports circulated that Ye and Bianca were kicked out of the event after Bianca’s shameful public exposure. However, PEOPLE confirmed they were not kicked out and the police were not called.

Indecent exposure is still against the law in California and many jurisdictions around the country.

Ye’s appearance on the red carpet marked his first time attending the Grammy Awards in 10 years. He last appeared at the event in 2015, when he was nominated for best rap/song collaboration and best rap song for “Bound 2” from his 2013 album Yeezus.

Kanye was nominated for an award – and after they walked the carpet — they walked out and left.

In this video, the shameless couple is seen leaving Crypto.com Arena and getting into a custom wrapped Mercedes-Benz Maybach parked outside. One photographer asked Ye, “How come you’re only following Taylor Swift on Instagram?” But Ye didn’t respond to the question.

Ye and Bianca later attended a party at the Living Room Club in Los Angeles. She wore a sheer black one piece with fur stiletto boots.

Ye then posted — and deleted — images from the evening on his Instagram account, captioning one of the photos with “love story.”

Ye and Bianca were living in exile in Japan for months to avoid lawsuits in America. But he recently returned to the USA to face the music.

X users who are used to celebrity stunts were shocked by Bianca’s public nudity at the Grammys.

One person wrote: “Kanye West (Ye) overtakes Will Smith into No.1 position of ‘Greatest Celebrity Cuck’ after helping his wife Biance Censori strip naked at the Grammy’s.”

Another person wrote: “When is the last time Kanye made headlines for his talent as opposed to just being a jackass or shock value?”

And a third person said: “The couple was clearly hoping to attract attention, but at whose expense?”

Shocker: Beyoncé Wins Album of the Year and Best Country Music Album at Grammys

Beyoncé won her first-ever Grammy award as a country music artist for her first country-inspired album Cowboy Carter on Sunday.

After her album was snubbed at the 2024 Country Music Awards, Beyoncé won the Best Country Album trophy on Sunday.

Beyoncé was nominated for 11 Grammys, making her the most-nominated artist of the evening and still the most-nominated artist of all time.

The mom-of-3 was stunned when pop superstar Taylor Swift announced Cowboy Carter had won the best country album award. Beyoncé was startled and looked around the room for confirmation.

Her dumbstruck reaction quickly became an instant meme on social media.

According to reports, Bey and her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter had just arrived moments before the announcement, so Beyoncé was caught off guard.

Beyoncé is the first Black woman to win a country Grammy in 50 years since the Pointer Sisters.

The “Crazy In Love” singer also won the Best Country Duo/Group Performance Grammy for “II Most Wanted” with Miley Cyrus.

Beyoncé took home the coveted Album of the Year award for Cowboy Carter. She tearfully accepted the Album of the Year trophy from a member of the L.A. fire department while her daughter, Blue Ivy, looked on.

The accolade comes after Bey announced her Country Cowboy 2025 World tour on Saturday. If you recall, she delayed the announcement due to the deadly Los Angeles wildfires.

The Houston native wrote on Instagram, “The January 14th announcement will be postponed to a later date due to the devastation caused by the ongoing wildfires around areas of Los Angeles. I continue to pray for healing and rebuilding for the families suffering from trauma and loss.”

Beyoncé’s BeyGOOD Foundation donated $2.5 million to wildfire relief efforts.

“Los Angeles we stand with you,” the pop star’s charity captioned an Instagram post.

“BeyGOOD is taking action by announcing the LA Fire Relief Fund with a donation of 2.5 million dollars. The fund is earmarked to aid families in the Altadena/Pasadena area who lost their homes, and to churches and community centers to address the immediate needs of those affected by the wildfires.”

In other Grammy news, Super Bowl halftime performer Kendrick Lamar swept the rap category.

Kendrick won 5 Grammys: best rap performance, best rap song, best music video, and best song and record of the year for his Drake diss track “Not Like Us.”

The mediocre rap song beat out hits by Beyoncé, Taylor Swift with Post Malone, Lady Gaga with Bruno Mars, Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, and Shaboozey in the Song of the Year category.

Kendrick’s sweep inspired social media users to rename the 2025 Grammys “The DEI Awards.”

His Grammy haul proves once again that the Grammy Awards ceremony is a popularity contest with the awards going to whomever goes viral. The award has nothing to do with the quality of the music.

“At the end of the day, nothing more powerful than rap music,” Kendrick said after accepting the song of the year award from Diana Ross. The R&B icon has never won a Grammy in her illustrious career.

Let that sink in.

Rihanna brings Paris Fashion Week to LA as she makes 2nd appearance at A$AP Rocky’s assault trial

Pop superstar Rihanna brought chic and glamour to boyfriend A$AP Rocky‘s firearm assault trial in L.A. on Friday. The beauty maven made her second surprise appearance at the trial with Rocky who faces up to 24 years in prison for shooting a former friend.

Rihanna would be in Paris, France at Fashion Week right now if she wasn’t stuck in Los Angeles attending the trial. But she brought Paris Fashion Week to the courthouse steps!

Rihanna turned the courthouse sidewalk into an impromptu fashion runway. She sashayed to her waiting Uber VIP while wearing a grey jacket with faux sleeves, a black tank top and black leather trousers with black pointy toe heels.

Meanwhile, Rocky looked dapper in a cream-colored jacket and tan trousers with a button down shirt and maroon tie.

He smiled politely for the same photographers that he shoved out of his way on Friday, Jan. 24.

The frustrated rapper pushed his way through the mob of paparazzi so he wouldn’t be late for court.

One photographer was overheard asking Rocky, “What’s up, felon?”

Rihanna probably decided it would be wise to attend court with Rocky to help him stay calm. She can’t have the father of her children wasting away in prison during her sons’ formative years when they need a father the most.

Rocky arrived to court earlier in the day with his mom and sister, while Rihanna arrived via a private back entrance.

CPR/D.SANCHEZ / BACKGRID

A source told the US Sun: “Rihanna arrived around 9:49 a.m. in a blacked-out SUV and met with two security guards who tried to throw everyone off and went down a side passageway out of the court. They jumped in her car in the underground parking lot, and she snuck into the court in a secret elevator and never walked the main corridor.”

This video shows Rihanna leaving court with Rocky, his mother and sister on Friday.

RiRi made her first appearance in court on Thursday, Jan. 30. She wore an all-black ensemble with a turtleneck sweater and trench coat.

She reportedly sat beside Mayers’ mother and sister in the front row of the courtroom.

Prosecutors allege that Rocky fired a 9mm handgun multiple times at Relli, who suffered a grazed knuckle.

AFP via Getty Images

A$AP Relli, real name Terell Ephron, testified in court earlier in the week. He said Rocky held a gun to his stomach and said “I’ll kill you right now” before firing at least four shots.

Relli returned to the crime scene a day later and picked up 2 spent shell casings off the ground. He turned the casings over to police who obtained a warrant for Rocky’s arrest.

Police searched Rocky’s L.A. home and found an extended magazine for a 9mm handgun, but they never found the gun. Rocky’s lawyer claims the casings didn’t match the bullets in the extended magazine.

Rocky and Relli were members of the rap collective called A$AP Mob. The collective disbanded after the shooting. Relli is no longer rapping.

GAMR / BACKGRID

On Friday evening, an exhausted Rihanna and A$AP stepped out for dinner at Wally’s restaurant in Beverly Hills.

Rocky, 36, faces two felony charges of assault with a firearm for allegedly shooting A$AP Relli outside Hollywood’s W Hotel in 2021.

Rocky stubbornly rejected a plea deal offer of 180 days (6 months) in prison and seven years probation in exchange for a guilty plea. His reason? He did not want a felony conviction on his record. And he wouldn’t be able to tour in foreign countries while on probation.

Update: Army declines to name female co-pilot involved in crash at request of family

Update: We will probably never know the identity of the woman who flew the Army helicopter that collided with a passenger jet in DC on Wednesday night.

Fox News reported the co-pilot was a woman with only 500 hours of flying experience.

She was training to fly with night vision goggles on. Three night vision goggles were found in the helicopter’s wreckage.

The instructor pilot is identified as Chief Warrant Officer Andrew Eaves. The second soldier in the chopper was the crew chief, Ryan O’Hara.

But the U.S. Army has declined to name the female co-pilot at the request of the family.

The co-pilot was being “evaluated” when the helicopter suddenly went off course and climbed 200 feet into the path of the airliner.

Among the victims on the plane was attorney and Howard University law professor Kiah Duggins. She was also a former Miss Butler County pageant winner in 2014 and 2015.

Larry Strong, her former pageant director, said Duggins was preparing for her first year as a law professor at Howard University.

Howard University President Ben Vinson III said in a statement: “We ask for privacy and respect for Professor Duggins’ family, students, and colleagues during this difficult time.”

The catastrophic errors that led to the mid-air collision included just one air traffic controller to direct both the plane and the helicopter.

Insiders with the FAA tell DailyMail.com that the helicopter was a half-mile off course and flying in an unapproved area.

The helicopter was also flying at an altitude above 300 feet instead of 200 feet to avoid collisions with planes.

A flight tracker shows the helicopter flying erratically on both sides of the Potomac River. It then made a sharp right turn near the airport before climbing rapidly and colliding with the passenger jet over the Potomac.

Photo may have been deleted

In a rare press briefing on Thursday, President Donald Trump blamed the previous administration’s DEI policies for the tragedy.

Trump said the Biden administration based hiring on physical characteristics and sexuality rather than on the best qualified candidates.

Trump also read an article quoting the FAA‘s job qualifications for air traffic controller candidates.

“The FAA’s diversity push includes focus on hiring people with severe intellectual and psychiatric disabilities — uh, that is amazing,” Trump said sarcastically.

Trump continued, “FAA says people with severe disabilities are the most underrepresented segment of the work force and they want them in and… they can be air traffic controllers. I don’t think so.”
