Oscar nominee Teyana Taylor got into a heated confrontation with a security guard who put his hands on her after the Oscar Awards broadcast wrapped.
The incident happened on stage at the end of the 98th Oscar Awards at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday, March 15, in Hollywood, California.
TMZ reports it all started when a security guard shoved the actress as she walked onstage for the Oscar Best Picture photo with her “One Battle After Another” costars.

“You’re a man putting your hands on a female. Very rude. You’re very rude,” she told the guard, as her mom, Nikki (pictured), and “One Battle” costar Chase Infiniti looked on.

“He’s putting his hands on a female! What are you doing?” Teyana is heard asking the man. “He literally shoved me,” she said. “That’s a different story. He could’ve said no, b–h. He literally shoved me… Do not touch me. Do not shove me.”

According to TMZ’s sources, Teyana was trying to return to the stage alongside Pam Abdi, co-head of Warner Bros., when a security guard attempted to stop them from going up the stairs.
TMZ’s sources say the guard used his body to block Teyana and put his hands on her, trying to physically hold her back and push her away from the stage to prevent her from getting past him.
Teyana was not happy after a historic night for Black actors at the Oscars. She was nominated for “One Battle After Another.” She didn’t win, but “One Battle” won Best Picture.

“I want to thank Warner Bros. and Mike and Pam for believing in this dream, this vision of Ryan Coogler, and betting on the culture and betting on original ideas and original artistry,” Michael said.

Michael also thanked Black Oscars pioneers who paved the way for him.
“I stand here because of the people that came before me,” he said, referencing past Oscar winners Hattie McDaniel, Sidney Poitier, Denzel Washington, Halle Berry, Jamie Foxx, Forest Whitaker, and Will Smith.
“To be up among those giants, among those greats, among my ancestors… thank you.”

A California pastor who shoved an elder down the church steps is speaking out.
Parishioners are calling for Lorenz Roseman to step down as pastor of Beulah Baptist Church in Gardena.
Roseman is accused of shoving Elise McTaw down the church’s cement steps and through an iron gate on October 7, 2025. The incident was captured on surveillance camera.
McTaw suffered multiple broken bones during the incident.
Najee Ali, a community activist, posted surveillance footage of the incident on Facebook. The footage shows McTaw falling down a short flight of stairs after being shoved by a male.
Ali identified the man as Pastor Roseman.
“We’re not going to sweep this under the rug,” Ali wrote on Facebook. Roseman was arrested and the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed charges against him. He pleaded not guilty.
McTaw and other church members filed lawsuits against Roseman.
“The whole unfortunate event began when I was informed that certain influential members, who held positions of power, might be engaged in unethical or illegal activities. After conducting an investigation and confirming the allegations, I removed them from their positions,” Roseman told KTLA 5.
He continued: “When these individuals could not oust me through our church policies and procedures, they began to attack my character and weaponize the legal system against me.”
He added that “judges have dismissed these suits as frivolous and lacking standing.”
Roseman continues to preach on Sundays, Ali said, adding that church members want him dismissed.
“Some church members want him gone and question why he’s still preaching while criminal charges against him proceeds.”
Zendaya turned heads at Essence’s Black Women in Hollywood Awards on Thursday. The “Euphoria” star walked the powder blue carpet wearing a familiar white gown with floral detail previously worn by Whitney Houston.

The Eugene Alexander design features an oversized floral embellishment on the shoulder. The dress is adapted from the one worn by the late singer in a 1987 promotional photoshoot that ended up on the cover of Life magazine.
Whitney’s dress originally included two flowers and a longer hemline, according to Page Six.
Sarah Jessica Parker wore Zendaya’s one flower version in the opening credits of 2008’s “Sex and the City” movie.

Zendaya’s stylist Law Roach posted a video of his famous client to X.com. He also shared both Whitney and Sarah’s versions of the dress. He captioned the post: “An ICONIC piece of fashion history at Essence Women in Hollywood today.”
There is no proof that former first lady Michelle Obama is a man. Yet people on the Internet continue to push the conspiracy theory.
RJ Capak/WireImage
Rozonda Thomas, aka Chilli from TLC, is also pushing the unproven gossip that Mrs. Obama is a man.
Chilli reposted an altered image of Michelle with Barack on Instagram under the headline “Michelle Obama Registered To Vote As a Man in 1994…”
The post includes a blurred copy of a registration form with a circle around the “M” for male.
The OP wrote in a comment: “The more you wake up, the more you see it power isn’t voted in, it’s selected behind the scenes. The truth …”
Chilli’s repost remained live on the Internet 24 hours later.
Reddit.com users expressed disappointment in the singer.
One person wrote: “Not only is this a psychotic conspiracy theory, it’s: transphobic, sexist, and racist.”

Another person wrote: “Of all of the legit things you could criticize the Obamas for during their time in office, to resort to spreading far-right conspiracies (as a black person at that), just says a lot about you.”
A third person commented: “She is actually Ivy-league educated Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama, who carries such a feminine power … that she attracted someone as charismatic as Barack Obama. These people are crazyyy.”
Jada Pinkett Smith will return to “A Different World” in her role as Lena James. She teased her comeback in a post on Instagram.
Last month it was confirmed that Charnele Brown and Jenifer Lewis will join Jasmine Guy, Kadeem Hardison, Cree Summer and Darryl M. Bell for “A Different World” reboot on Netflix.
Now it seems Jada will also join the cast. Jada shared a selfie on Instagram that shows her standing outside a dressing room door with the words “Lena James” on a sign.
Jada captioned the post: “She back,” alongside a smiley face and the hashtag #ADifferentWorld.
Fans reacted in the comments section. “Yessssss Miss Lena James class of 1995! IKDR!” one person wrote. Other followers added, “Millennials HAVE WON,” and “Please let it be more than a cameo. Full role, por favor.”
A Different World is a spin-off of The Cosby Show. The series originally centered on Lisa Bonet as Denise Huxtable and her white friend, Marisa Tomei, as students at Hillman College, a fictional HBCU in Virginia.
Both Lisa and Marisa left the series after the 1st season.
The series aired for 6 seasons on NBC from September 24, 1987, to July 9, 1993.
Jada joined the series in season 5 as recurring character Lena James. She became a main cast member in the 6th and final season.
Loretta Divine curved Tia Mowry when Tia tried to kiss her at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, March 12.
Tia was slow to catch on that Loretta’s body language showed discomfort. Maybe Tia is on the spectrum? People who are on the spectrum can’t read body language. They’re often slow to pick up on another person’s discomfort or annoyance with them.

Viral video shows Tia crowding Loretta on the powder blue carpet before the luncheon. Tia leaned in for a kiss on the lips, but Loretta curved her. An embarrassed Tia asked Loretta “Did you see my message I gave you… on Instagram?” But Tia was still too close for Loretta’s comfort.

“I’ll leave you alone,” Tia said, before kissing Loretta on the cheek. “She smells good y’all,” Tia said. “You so bad!” Loretta said, while waving her away.
“Is Tia drunk?” one X.com user wrote in a comment.
Other users said Loretta is not down with Hollywood’s LGBTQ+ agenda. But one user noted she played a butch lesbian in Gabrielle Union’s TV series, “Being Mary Jane,” which ran from 2014-2017.

Target has announced it will stop selling breakfast cereals that contain synthetic food coloring. Target is the eighth-largest retailer in the United States.

“We know consumers are increasingly prioritizing healthier lifestyles, and we’re moving quickly to evolve our offerings to meet their needs,” Cara Sylvester, Target’s executive vice-president and chief merchandising officer, said in the press release.
In addition to corn syrup, Lucky Charms contains artificial coloring such as yellow dyes 5&6, blue 1, and red dye 40.

Ultra processed foods like cereals with vibrant colors appeal to children, but the dyes have been found to cause health problems.
The federal government is investigating reports that the dyes may cause DNA damage.
On Jan. 15, 2025, the FDA banned Red No. 3, leading to an increase in red dye No. 40 in cereal, candy and beverages.
Jacquelyn “Jaguar” Wright is struggling to pay her legal bills following her arrest on theft charges in 2024.
The retired R&B singer made a name for herself by revealing music industry secrets about A-listers with armies of lawyers at their disposal.
She was sued by fellow R&B singer Brian McKnight and Jay-Z for defamation and slander.
Wright launched a GoFundMe page seeking $16,000 to pay her legal bills.
“After speaking out against wrongdoing in the entertainment industry, I became the target of intense online harassment. Several YouTube content creators inserted themselves into my life, orchestrating a campaign that included swatting and doxxing, and ultimately led to my arrest,” she claimed in the summary.
Wright continued:
“The emotional and financial toll of these attacks has been overwhelming, and I am now facing a complex legal battle to defend myself and restore my reputation. I am seeking support to hire a lawyer and a private investigator. With their help, I hope to clear my name, identify those responsible for these coordinated attacks, and pursue legal action to hold them accountable.”
So far, Wright’s GoFundMe page has raised nearly $700 from 14 donations.
Johnny Nunez/WireImag
Wright made wild accusations against Jay-Z, his wife Beyonce, Sean Combs, and others in the music industry. Everyone loves juicy gossip, but Wright’s gossip can’t be proven in a court of law.
Wright’s critics point out her lack of credibility and her alleged mental disorder.
In March of last year, Wright was named in a lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
The lawsuit claimed she transported “victims” to Combs’s home on Loma Vista Drive, where they were subsequently sexually assaulted by him.
Combs is currently serving a 4-year sentence in a federal prison in New Jersey following his conviction on transporting male escorts for prostitution.
YouTube vlogger Tasha K recently launched a GoFundMe page to help pay off the $1.2 million she agreed to pay rapper Cardi B to settle her lawsuit.
Tasha’s GoFundMe has collected nearly $10,000 so far.
