Lizzo looks amazing in photos on her Instagram account. The 36-year-old pop singer lost 60 pounds on a vegan diet. But in recent weeks, Lizzo ditched her vegan diet in favor of a protein-rich diet that includes chicken and fish.
Lizzo slammed reports that she used Ozempic to lose wight. In a new video, she shared everything she eats on her weight-loss journey.
Instagram
In one video, she held a lettuce wrap. She followed that with a plate of mixed fruit, ham-lined egg white cups and cauliflower hashbrowns.
She washed it all down with a large glass of lemon water.
Instagram
The “Truth Hurts” singer took a bite of each meal for the camera before placing the food back on her plate.
Instagram
For lunch, she took a bite out of a buffalo chicken lettuce wrap with “lots of mustard,” which she downed with a jug of peach iced tea.
Instagram
Next she dined on a grilled chicken breast garnished with carrots and asparagus.
Instagram
In between meals, Lizzo sipped “okra water” while getting her hair done.
Instagram
Lizzo explained her decision to give up her vegan diet in favor of a protein-rich diet.
Instagram
“My reintroduction to protein came from Japan,” she said. “When I got to Japan I was in awe of how clean and delicious their food was.”
“I indulged in fresh sushi and fluffy egg and I was amazed at how good my body felt the next day,” Lizzo added.
“That led me on a journey to figure out how animal proteins affect my body, she said in a voiceover.
Lizzo said adding animal proteins back into her diet helped her to have “more energy, lose weight” and to deal with “mental fog’ that she suffered from.
She is insulted that fans still believe Ozempic helped her to lose weight. Lizzo struggled with her weight for years. But she refuses to hop on the Ozempic train.
Elon Musk said his Optimus robots can do anything you want. They will be able to mow your lawn, shop for your groceries, and even babysit your kids.
Participants were in awe of the Optimus robots who walked among the guests. One robot held a conversation with rapper 2 Chainz. The rapper reportedly placed a pre-order for several of the high-tech robots.
The online excitement for the Optimus robots matches the debut of iPhones in the U.S. in 2007.
But the robots will come at a steep price. Elon expects the cost to be around $20-30,000 each! Eventually the price will decline so that everyone can own their own robot.
Elon said his Optimus is “going to be awesome.” His long-term goal is for Optimus to be “the biggest product ever of any kind.”

Elon’s beer-pouring Optimus robot was a big hit at the event. A human remotely assisted the Optimus to mix and serve drinks for delighted guests. The robots are not completely autonomous, meaning their movements are controlled remotely by humans.

Former President Barack Obama is concerned by the lack of energy he sees among Black men for Vice President Kamala Harris.
Harris is trying to become the first Asian American and woman president in United States history.
Obama hit the campaign trail after internal polls showed Harris is losing to former President Donald Trump, particularly among the Black male demographic.
On Thursday, October 10, Obama met with Black voters at an event ahead of a rally for Harris in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Obama told the men he doesn’t see the same “energy” and turnout for Harris that he saw in the Black community when he was running for president.
“We have yet to see the same kinds of energy and turnout in all corners of our neighborhoods and communities as we saw when I was running,” Obama, 63, said at a “Black Voters for Harris” event in Pittsburgh.
“I also want to say that that seems to be more pronounced with the brothers,” he added. “So if you don’t mind, just for a second, I’m going to speak to y’all directly.”

Obama, who is biracial like Harris, reminded the men that Harris “grew up like you.”
Obama compared Black men to Harris as “somebody who grew up like you, knows you, went to college with you, understands the struggles and pain and joy that comes from those experiences.”
Obama said he’s hearing “excuses” from Black men that they don’t want to elect a female for president.
“[Y]ou’re coming up with all kinds of reasons and excuses,” he said. “I’ve got a problem with that. Part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president, and you’re coming up with other alternatives and other reasons for that.”
Obama said the Republican presidential candidate has shown “disregard” for people.
“Women in our lives have been getting our backs this entire time. When we get in trouble and the system isn’t working for us, they’re the ones out there marching and protesting,” he declared.
Obama argued that it is “not acceptable” for Black men to support former President Trump, who is Caucasian.
“I’m sorry, gentlemen, I noticed this, especially with some men who seem to think Trump’s behavior pulling and putting people down is a sign of strength,” he said. “And I am here to tell you that is not what real strength is.”

GloRilla premiered the music video for her new track “Watchu Know About Me” featuring Sexyy Red after previously releasing “Hollon” and “TGIF.”
Directed by the legendary Benny Boom, Glo, and Sexyy pay homage to the 2000s rap classic “Wipe Me Down” and even have a guest appearance from rapper Boosie to make this visual a must-watch.

Fans were ecstatic that GloRilla and Sexyy Red are together on the same track.
One YouTube commenter wrote: “I remember when Sexyy Red first blew up, people tried to put her against GloRilla, just like they always do, trying to make women compete with each other. But now, here we are, they’re both on GloRilla’s album, and that just makes me so damn happy.”
Album artwork
The music video coincides with the release of GloRilla’s new album, GLORIOUS, on CMG/Interscope Records.
The star-studded album includes features from Megan Thee Stallion, Latto, Sexyy Red, Kirk Franklin, Bossman Dlo, Fridayy, T-Pain, Muni Long, Kierra Sheard, Maverick City Music and Chandler Moore. The debut studio album comes after Big Glo trailblazed her way through the music industry with infectious hit records and high-profile collaborations that have won fans around the globe, including this year’s Hot 100 hits “Yeah Glo!,” “TGIF” and “Wanna Be” featuring Megan Thee Stallion.”
GloRilla has been on a tear over the last several months, starting with her previous project, a 12-track effort titled Ehhthang, Ehhthang, released in April and has generated over 550 million streams in the U.S. The mixtape propelled Glo further into the spotlight. She dominated the summer season as two of the project’s biggest songs, 2X platinum single “Yeah Glo” and the platinum-selling hit “Wanna Be” with Megan Thee Stallion, simultaneously hit Urban Radio Top 10 list along with her biggest anthem to date, the Rihanna-co-signed and RIAA-certified gold record “TGIF.”
MEGA
Glo became the first female artist to achieve that feat in almost a decade and she didn’t stop there as all three songs went on to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, each peaking at the Top 30. In particular, “Wanna Be” went #1 on the Rhythmic Radio chart while “TGIF” is still active, cracking the top five.
Glo also received the key to the city of Memphis for her musical achievements in September and also performed an exhilarating set at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, where she was also nominated four times and turned heads with a red carpet look inspired by Vogue, which was highlighted in a ‘Get Ready With’ piece with the iconic publication.

The bonafide hitmaker also hit the road alongside Megan Thee Stallion as an opening act on her sold-out Hot Girl Summer tour earlier this summer. She was also invited to serve as a presenter at the ESPYs, iHeartRadio Music Awards, and Billboard Women in Music.
The Glo train isn’t stopping there either, as the rapper has been nominated seven times for the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards this week and will perform on the big stage, too. The New York Times recently profiled Glo and lauded her as “hip-hop’s master motivator” whose husky bark “can move audiences across genres.”

In 2019 Netflix cancelled a documentary that linked root canals to cancer. The film “Root Cause” was viewed millions of times. Then it disappeared from Netflix.
The movie centered around “one man’s extraordinary, personal journey” to find the root cause of his health problems. His journey exposed “one of the world’s greatest medical industry cover-ups.”
It turns out, Netflix cancelled “Root Cause” because the streaming giant was hit with a class-action lawsuit by the American Association of Endontists.
The dental professionals complained that the film spread “misinformation” about root canals.
In the movie, doctors explain that the dead root of a tooth is the only “dead organ” that is left inside the body.
Dr. David Minkoff explains, “If you think that you can get away with an infected, toxic tooth and not have a systemic consequence, I think you’re deluding yourself.”
“The vast majority of chronic degenerative diseases begin with problems in the mouth,” says Dr. Thomas E. Levy.
The movie claims root canals (dead roots) can lead to chronic fatigue, heart disease, diabetes, and even breast cancer.
A recent study found that 99% of women diagnosed with breast cancer had a root canal tooth on the same side as their breast cancer.
Dr. Levy says 25 million new root canals are performed a year in the United States.
“One of the greatest public health interventions we could possibly do is to make the root canal procedures something of the past, because [a root canal] does nothing positive for the general health of the body at all,” he added.

Notorious attorney Gloria Allred, who represents at least one of Combs’ accusers, flew in from California to attend the hearing.
Thursday’s pretrial hearing was Combs’s first before U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian, who took over the case from Judge Andrew Carter, who recused himself after denying Combs’ bond in September.

Combs (seen in an artist’s sketch) entered the courtroom through a side door. He was dressed in tan jail-issued shirt and pants. The rapper, 54, smiled and hugged his legal team before bowing and waving at his family and friends sitting in the courtroom.

Judge Subramanian asked Combs’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, if he wanted to file an application under the “Speedy Trial Act.”
Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson objected to the speedy trial act. “We move to exclude time under the Act, it’s already tolled by the motion,” she said.
Judge Subramanian said, “I exclude time until December 18. I have no application for bail before me… So Mr. Combs will remain detained. We are adjourned.”
Also on Thursday, Oct. 10, the 2nd Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals denied Combs’ request for an “immediate release” on bond. But his main request for bail will still be heard by the same three-judge panel at a later date.

Thursday’s pre-trial hearing was his first before U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian, who took over the case from Judge Andrew Carter, who recused himself after denying Combs’ bond in September.
According to The Washington Post, Combs smiled and hugged his defense team in court ahead of the hearing.
Combs’ lawyers asked the court to release him on $50 million bond after his initial two bond requests were denied.
Homeland Security agents said they seized 9 electronic devices from Combs’s L.A. mansion during a raid in March. 36 devices were seized from the Star Island house in Miami. The feds told the judge that data has been extracted from 29 devices in LA and that it takes time to extract data from the other devices.
The judge gave the defense until February 17 to file motions about the data.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson told the judge: “Current technology doesn’t allow us to quickly extract. The government’s ability to decrypt is constantly evolving. Also sometimes with older tablets we don’t have the forensic tools, so we are looking for solutions. Some devices were damage.”
Judge Subramanian said he did not have a bond application in front of him. The judge also asked attorney Marc Agnifilo if he wanted to file an application under the “Speedy Trial Act.”
Johnson objected to the speedy trial act. “We move to exclude time under the Act, it’s already tolled by the motion,” she said.
A trial date has been set for May 5, 2025.
Judge: May 5, the trial will start. Or I'll give you April if you want. Agnifilo: We'll take May 5 – there is a lot of discovery. Judge: How long will the government's case be? AUSA Emily Johnson: Three weeks, but…
Judge Subramanian: “I exclude time until December 18. I have no application for bail before me… So Mr. Combs will remain detained. We are adjourned.”
Combs appealed previous judge's denial of his bail application – so it's pending in the 2d Circuit Court of Appeals, not before the District Judge to whom the case has been re-assigned, Arun Subramanian. Today he said, There's no bail application pending before me https://t.co/TJvqYty63X

Sean Combs will attend a hearing at a federal courthouse in Manhattan this afternoon. Combs’ lawyers will ask a judge to release him on $50 million bond after his initial two bond requests were denied.
Combs’s bond request will be heard by a new judge who will also preside over his criminal trial next year.
The rap mogul is being held at a Brooklyn detention center following his arrest in September on sex trafficking and conspiracy charges.
In a new court filing this week, Combs’ legal team accused the federal government of leaking hotel video of him beating ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. The lawyers claimed the government leaked the hotel video and other confidential information to CNN.
Sandra Rose/Sandrarose.com
Homeland Security agents raided Combs’ properties in Miami and Los Angeles in March. Agents seized boxes of videos, laptops, USB drives, and other electronics from the homes.
Combs’ lawyers claim that the Department of Homeland Security leaked the video to CNN as part of a scheme to secure an indictment from the federal grand jury and prevent him from getting a fair trial.
“The videotape was leaked to CNN for one reason alone: to mortally wound the reputation and the prospect of Sean Combs successfully defending himself against these allegations,” the lawyers, Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos, wrote.
GINO / BACKGRID
The lawyers said Cassie Ventura was likely not the one who leaked the video to CNN because she secured the bag by settling a lawsuit in November.
The court filing cited a federal rule that prohibits prosecutors or government agents from disclosing matters occurring before a grand jury.
In an email that was submitted to the court, one of the federal prosecutors, Emily A. Johnson, denied that the government leaked the video to CNN.
Johnson wrote that “the government possessed no surveillance video at all from the InterContinental prior to CNN’s public broadcast.” She added that any accusation of a government leak lacked “a good faith basis.”
An attorney representing Jay Z and Beyonce denied sending a cease and desist to Piers Morgan, host of “Piers Morgan: Uncensored.”
On Tuesday, Morgan apologized to Shawn “Jay Z” Carter and his wife, Beyonce Knowles Carter, for inviting controversial R&B singer Jaguar Wright on his show as a guest.

Wright made salacious comments about the power couple that were considered slander and not based on facts.
Wright has made a name for herself by spreading malicious gossip about celebrities over the years.
Many were surprised when Morgan invited Wright on his show to discuss the Sean Combs case.

The attorney for the Carters clarified that he did not send Piers a cease and desist. He said he sent Morgan an “ultimatum.”
Via TMZ — The Carters’ attorney, Alex Spiro, joined us on “TMZ Live” Wednesday and we asked him about Jay and Bey’s response to Piers’ show ‘Uncensored’ broadcasting an interview with Jaguar Wright, who claimed the couple had more “victims” than Diddy.
Alex says Piers was exploiting the rumor mill by allowing these false allegations to hit the airwaves … and he says he gave Piers an ultimatum … remove the claims and apologize, or face a court order to take the interview down.
Jay and Bey’s attorney says Jaguar’s allegations are demonstrably false, and Piers should never have allowed the claims to make it on the show, blasting Piers as an irresponsible so-called journalist.
Alex says Piers didn’t just harm the Carters here … he also drowned out the voices of real victims.
